A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DINING ROOM SERVER

As a Dining Room Server, you enjoy the hustle and bustle of our dining room. Your warm, friendly, and professional demeanor creates a lasting impression for our members and guests. When members and guests arrive, you quickly greet them with a smile. As an expert on our food and menu, you are able to suggest choices that our customers will enjoy. You anticipate members' needs, provide excellent customer service, and ensure that requests are taken care of expediently.

After serving our guests and members, you check back with them to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition to providing great service, you keep our tables and dining room clean and organized. You also handle opening and closing duties required for the shift you are working. Your attention to detail and passion for customer service are essential to your success. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous serving experience

PART-TIME WORK SCHEDULE

Our dining room is open Tuesday - Sunday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so a variety of shifts are available. Most holidays are required.

The primary purpose of this job position is to be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Lead Supervisor, Supervisor, Dining Room Service Manager and/or Director of Dining Service, to assure that quality service is provided.

Requirements/Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.
* Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen
* Continuous table maintenance
* Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion
* Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude
* Communicating clearly, professionally and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfaction
* Being able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability
