Heres what we have to offer:
Professional Development Sessions Throughout the summer, our staff hosts multiple professional development sessions for our interns where we cover a variety of topics chosen by interns!
A guaranteed reserved spot on our best dodgeball team When it comes to having fun, we dont mess around at our annual dodgeball tournament. If youre up for the challenge, youll be dodging, ducking, dipping and diving in no time. Oh, and maybe scarfing down a few asada tacos in between games.
Site Visits Even though youll be placed on one of our engineering, planning, architecture, water or survey teams, you will have an opportunity to get a deep dive into multiple projects completed by other teams in the company. Youll start out by meeting the project manager, seeing finished plan sets, meeting any support departments or divisions that helped along the way and finish off with touring the actual job site.
Work/Life Balance We want you to have a life outside of work. Thats why our company has adopted an alternate work schedule where we work hard Monday Thursday (9 hour days) and get to enjoy our weekend a little early on Fridays (4 hour day). Over the summer you will be a part of large company events like baseball games, BBQs, and our infamous dodgeball tournament.
Real World Experience You wont be another scanning & excel doc extraordinaire here. Instead, well give you real world experience and project exposure in your assigned market sector. That way whether you stay with us, or find an opportunity elsewhere, your resume is bolstered with experience that employers care about, setting you apart from your fellow classmates.
Compensation
Hourly rate will be determined by candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. We consider our interns as temporary employees, therefore not eligible for our Benefits package. The expected pay range for this position is $20/hr to $26/hr.
