The Residential Counselor at Adult Residential Recovery provides milieu management, psychoeducation groups and ensures safety of individuals in a substance use residential and inpatient program.
Essential Duties:
* Provides milieu management, guidance, safety, stability, and direction to clients in early recovery from a trauma-informed lens.
* Maintains acceptable attendance and punctuality and is consistently at work on time.
* Interacts with client population to provide guidance, safety, stability, and direction including de-escalating potentially dangerous situations.

* Monitors Breath Alcohol (BA) tests as needed and document appropriately.
* Administers medications to clients per QMAP standards.

Schedule This is a part-time position with a set schedule of Tuesday - Thursday 6pm - 11pm. Occasional coverage shifts are available as needed.

Safety & Security: Maintain safety and security by monitoring all general access areas. Enforce the house rules as outlined in the handbook.
Security System: Arm the security system each night at curfew and turn it off in the morning.
