High School diploma or G.E.D. required with two years' experience working with troubled resident as a para-professional, volunteer or intern in a social service, residential, educational or institutional setting, or two years' college credit (30 credits) preferred and six months' experience with troubled resident. Any educational or experiential qualifications to be considered as equivalent, in lieu of the above minimums will require prior approval from the Executive Director or designee. Must be 21 years or older. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Must possess excellent organizational, writing, analytical, and processing skills. Should be able to perform conflict resolution or crisis intervention and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
While no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:
Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
Encouraging self-help activities
Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
