    at Clarvida - Oregon About your Role: As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide care, support and skills-training to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges. Fostering positive relationships between caretakers and individuals served you will work to ensure client safety and maintaining a safe environment. Assisting clients with self-administration of medications (with proper training) and encouraging self-help activities. Performing home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning, you will help clients plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, feeding and clean-up. While following a structured support plan, you will accompany clients to scheduled appointments and in running errands if needed (approved drivers only.)
