Job Summary and Responsibilities
CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is looking to add an additional Acute-specific Cardiology Advanced Practitioner to our well established practice in Lexington, KY. This position is acute, operating in an inpatient setting. Our Advanced Practitioners work closely with our physicians to ensure great continuity of care for our patients.
This position is full-time, with no mandatory call included for this specific position; however, call can be taken with the cardiology group for additional pay if that is of interest.
Responsibilities:
Accurately assesses patient conditions and documents effectively to support charges and to communicate with other providers.
Provides comprehensive patient assessment, including functional, mental, social and physical conditions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Paladin is seeking an enthusiastic Commissioning Provider to support the building goals for our Owner partners. As a Commissioning Provider, you will be responsible for defining performance targets, reviewing designs and submittals, verifying installation and coordination, completing functional verification testing, collaborating on issues resolution and transitioning operations to facilities staff. The Commissioning Provider will be responsible for managing the commissioning process with the intent to show that the results achieved match or exceed client targets.
This is a full time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site or hybrid. This position requires regular travel, up to 50% within 250 miles of Lexington, KY, rarely overnight. You will be traveling to active building construction projects and will be working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the commissioning process from Owner Project Requirement definition to Warranty Phase services
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and building automation systems
Prepare construction checklists, system verification checklists, and functional testing forms for a variety of building equipment and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and protection, security)
Manage the production of the deliverables in a high-quality manner consistent with stated standards and compliance paths for certification programs
Measure construction process activities to assure that systems installed are consistent with planning and project documents
Manage and maintain project budgets through good application of time, resources, and technical skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in commissioning or systems verification for the institutional and commercial building markets
Excellent knowledge of MEP systems and familiar with controls, applicable codes, standards and industry practices
One of these certifications is required: Professional Engineer License, CCP, CBCP, CxA
Experience using Engineering and Construction software, such as Revit, Bluebeam, ProCore, eComm, Autodesk360, Cx Alloy, Building Test
Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems including air distribution systems, hydronic distribution systems, central utility plant operations, generators and power distribution, lighting controls, and Building Automation Systems
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check to work with correctional facilities and primary and secondary educational facilities
High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision while planning, scheduling, and completing tasks within established deadlines
Ability to be flexible hours and occasional weeks as required by testing methodologies and project site conditions

A Day in the Life:
This role is very important to our pets and their parents. You're the one who makes them feel like a million bucks! Oftentimes, you are helping keep their pet healthy by maintaining a clean and well-groomed animal. Daily, you'll work on both animals with reservations, walk-in appointments and some of our guests who are staying with us in boarding. You'll perform a full groom, simple baths and touch ups and sometimes, the random “emergency-someone-just-peed-on-themselves-because-they-are-so-excited-bath.” You'll not only communicate with the dog(s), but also have a lot of interaction with mom and dad. You'll document what you are seeing - sometimes you're the first to notice an issue and can help the parents solve a health concern. And let's not forget -- you're probably going to scoop some poop, clean up some pee, go home with some fur on you and get lots of sloppy kisses!
Responsibilities:
Provide an overall positive experience for the pets as they are being groomed, including compassion, gentleness, reassurance, safety, and comfort.
Ensure that all guests are groomed or bathed (depending on the parent's requests) to the parent's specifications. Grooms/Baths must be completed on time.
Works with Resort Hosts to schedule or schedule grooming appointments yourself, including setting up new clients in online software and discussing vaccination protocol with both new and existing clients.
Meet and greet all grooming clients whenever possible to discuss grooming instructions after assessing the dog's coat and condition. Meet with clients or communicate after groom on results, including providing report cards. Suggest any added services that would be beneficial to the client.
Return all phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Grow your business by rescheduling any appointments.
Ensure client satisfaction by resolving any customer service issues within your capabilities.
Properly maintain all grooming tools to ensure quality of grooms. Check equipment on a regular basis to ensure it is not hazardous to guests.
Promptly notify the manager if supplies are needed (bandana, shampoos, etc.).
Maintain a sanitary and healthy environment by following the resort's standards of cleaning and disinfecting your workspace. See below for details.
Cleaning is essential: All hair must be swept off the floor in a timely manner. Bathing and drying rooms must be cleaned before going home. Grooming area must be tidy (windows cleaned, floor mopped, computer station cleaned.).
Disinfecting drying rooms is crucial. Use disinfectant daily and bleach weekly on all drying rooms.
Monitor guest's health while grooming or bathing. Report any unusual concerns to the general manager and the pet parent.
Ensure the guest has water and a chance to “go potty” if he or she will be with you for over 2 hours.
Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling guests, particularly aggressive guests and escape artists.
Pay specific attention to kennel tags, (Meds Person to Feed, Aggressive, Separate for Feeding, etc.).
Adhere to pricing guidelines. Get prior approval from the manager or pet's owner before any additional costs are added to service.
Effectively communicate to pet care staff that guests are with you.
Adhere to procedures in identifying pets while they are with you (groom cards, name bands).
Promptly give any laundry to pet care so that it can be cleaned.
Consult with other departments.

Effectively and positively communicate with stakeholders (e.g., peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for personal needs.
Job Requirements
Lift and move with children in a fast paced environment, which includes the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend over to pick items up off the ground, squat, quickly move around on the floor, and run to effectively stay engaged with young children, keep a tidy work environment, and maintain safety.
Maintain an environment conducive to therapy ensuring the play spaces are tidy, organized, and conducive to a stimulating and enjoyable experience for the children.
Multitask to balance multiple actions, decisions, or conversations in the moment while assessing prioritization and safety for all parties.
