    Job Description Behavioral Health Group Home Worker Full-time, Non-exempt, Group Home, Great Falls $16.50 an hour + DOE Shift Differential: $1.00 an hour for Weekday night shift hours is 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. Weekend hours start on Friday from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am on Monday. Position Overview: A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team involved in the operation of a transitional 24-hour group home facility. Job Duties: • Assists in matters relating to daily living in the group home including, but not limited to procurement of food, meal preparation, care and maintenance of the house and grounds and supervision of the residents. • Assists clients in problems relating to daily living activities. • Performs crisis intervention. • Assists psychiatric nurse in medication monitoring for transitional home clients. • Must complete and pass medication training test within initial probation period. • Assists with distributing prescribed medications. • Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients in accordance with MRWH policy. • Coordinates socialization and recreational activities for clients. • Assists with transporting clients to Day Treatment and participates in Day Treatment activities. • Work shift varies - ability to work evenings, over nights, weekends, and holidays. • Must have a valid MT Driver's License, personal vehicle, and current insurance. • Position located at Gateway facility but may cover shifts in any group home. Minimum Qualifications: MT Driver's License, valid vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. Excellent computer skills. Must be able to transport clients. Completion of high school is required or equivalency. One-year job related experience serving persons with severe disabilities or CNA experience is preferred.
