Position Overview The Critical Care Provider is a highly skilled healthcare professional responsible for delivering advanced medical care during inter-facility transports, emergencies, and other specialized scenarios. This role is open to licensed Critical Care Paramedics or Critical Care Registered Nurses who possess the clinical knowledge and expertise to manage critically ill or injured patients during transport. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced life support (ALS) and critical care interventions for patients requiring specialized transport services, including ventilator management, invasive monitoring, and medication titration. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans based on the patient's condition and medical history. Administer advanced treatments, including cardiac monitoring, intravenous infusions, and advanced pharmacological interventions, following applicable protocols and standards. Qualifications Critical Care Paramedic (CCP): Current National Registry, Nevada State Paramedic Certification, Southern Nevada Health District Certification, or Compact State License. Critical Care Paramedic certification. Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. At least 2 years of paramedic experience, with critical care transport experience preferred. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN): Current Nevada EMS-RN license. Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. At least 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU, ER, or similar critical care environment. Strong knowledge of ventilators, infusion pumps, invasive monitoring devices, and critical care pharmacology. Valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record (for transport roles).
