B. Responsibilities
Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, implementing individual programs properly, and assisting people to thrive in their environment and in the community. Other duties as assigned by supervisor within the scope of the position. Follow agency's policies and procedures.
THERAP proficiencies, including but not limited to S-Comms; T-logs (new & view daily); GER's (new, review); ISP data (enter); Health Tracking (new, search); Attendance (enter).
Assist people to choose where and with whom they live.
Provide necessary supports for people to have intimate relationships in their lives.
Actively solicit people's opinions about their services and supports.
Assist people to build personal support networks.
Assure people choose their daily routine based on their individual, identities, preferences and desires.
Assure people have time, space, and opportunity for privacy.
Modify or adapt living environments to meet people's needs.
Assist people to participate in the life of the community, through interaction with other members of the community.
Assist people to perform different social roles.
Support people to have friendships.
Ensure people are safe.
Ensure people are free from abuse and neglect.
Assist people to understand/exercise their rights.
Ensure no individual right is informally restricted.
