We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Dublin Animal Hospital kennel department team! Clerical • Record information such as feeding schedules, appearance, behavior of animals that are boarded or groomed. • Record information such as the cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the hospital's physical appearance along with cleaning and sanitizing necessary to maintain an environment acceptable to DAH's established philosophy.
Technical:
Observe animal appearance and activity for general physical condition, obvious signs of illness, disease and discontent. • Handle animals as required and restrain animals. • Walk boarded dogs several times a day to provide exercise and time for elimination of bowels and bladder. • Apply knowledge of normal food and liquid requirements of animals. As required, provide special food and liquids. • Ensure that cages and animals are properly numbered and identified and that personal property (toys, treats, blankets, leashes) are stored in the proper area and identified. • Clean, disinfect and maintain kennels, cages, runs and stalls as often as is necessary to ensure no cages or kennels are soiled and odors are not apparent. Perform general cleaning / sanitizing in other areas of the hospital to control the spread of companion animal and human disease. Wash and sterilize water and food bowls. • Launder and dry towels and blankets. • Patrol hospital grounds daily, picking up any trash and stool material. Job Description:
The primary focus of the Life Skills Coach is to help make life more rewarding for our Veterans with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries by providing the delivery of high-quality home and community services. Life Skills Coaches accomplish these results by effectively supporting and carrying out quality client care plans, ensuring resources are engaged effectively to meet client needs, orienting/educating clients and client's families about health care plan services and procedures, supporting accurate and complete documentation, and supplying timely data for generating accurate invoices. Our Life Skills Coaches come together in a team effort with Case Managers and family members to best serve Veterans through dynamic social, recreational, wellness, educational, and individualized life skills training and activities in the home and community. The Life Skills Coach reports to their assigned Care Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to travel to current or prospective clients homes
Must be able and willing to transport client(s) during client visits
Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license and agency-required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury)
Must be able to communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communication

Community-Based DSP's
support individuals in learning basic social skills, self-care, communication, exploring interest, and integrating into their community by accompanying them into the community. Outings are diverse and include recreational opportunities, volunteering, music and art classes, social events, and more in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Paid training provided by Wall Residences may include First Aid & CPR, CMRT (Crisis Management & Response Training), Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training.
