The purpose of this care is to provide relief for family members, parents or guardians to enable them to attend to personal matters. Depending upon the eligible participants needs provides direct care as per caregiver instruction indicated on the Care Provision Instruction form. This may include assisting with in home activities of daily living. 2. Assures that health and safety needs are observed. 3. Prepares meals and assists the participant in nutritional skills, ensuring that nutritional needs are met within the home during the time of care. 4. Observes and supervises eligible participants in home activities. 5. Performs or requests emergency assistance as required. 6.
