Education and Experience:

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.

Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.

2025 has been a transformative year for CFL, and as we grow our current and new programs, we are looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who share our commitment to making a difference. As a DSP, you'll build meaningful relationships while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout Solano County.

Morning: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (some start times may be 8:00 AM)
Afternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Overnight: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
On your application, please list the shifts you are most interested in. You may also include shift preferences outside of these blocks if that works better for your schedule.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: $19.61/hour (day shifts)
Overnight shifts: $18.57/hour
Wage increases based on length of service and merit.

Schedule Expectations
CFL provides customized supports based on each person's Individual Service Plan (ISP). DSPs must be available to work no less than 8 hours weekly. You must be able to travel to all Solano County service areas.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 18 years of age
Valid driver's license & proof of auto insurance
CPR/First Aid Certification (offered internally after 90 days)

Responsibilities
Every day looks a little different - but all of it makes an impact. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting individuals in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming household
Helping with daily living skills such as meal prep, laundry, shopping, cleaning, and personal hygiene
Encouraging independence while providing respectful assistance with health and safety needs
Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
Building meaningful connections and encouraging friendships
Documenting services accurately and keeping communication open with CFL management
Attending trainings, team meetings, and professional development sessions
Promoting inclusion in the community and celebrating milestones, big or small
Physical Demands
DSPs may assist with mobility, including transfers with a Hoyer lift and mobility aids (training provided). This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, kneel, and maintain safe body mechanics while assisting others. CFL has a no single-lift policy to ensure the safety of both staff and individuals supported.
Job Type
Flexible, variable part-time position. Hours generally range from 25-40 per week and are based on the availability you share in your application.

Direct Care Provider
Direct care worker job in Fairfield, CA
Work closely with the individuals participating in A.A. Living Opportunities programs to assist in achieving and maintaining their goals on their Individual Service Plans.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Transport individuals to medical, dental, social activities, and other appointments.
Assists individuals in all personal grooming such as bathing, toileting, dressing, medical, and dental needs.
Assists with coordination of individuals healthcare.
Provide supervision and training during community and recreational outings.
Monitor physical and emotional wellness of individuals and immediately report changes in status.
Prepare meals and store food in compliance with all regulations and the program policy.
Follow response procedures for all emergencies (medical, natural disaster, fire and behavioral incidents),
The assist with maintenance and sanitation of home and surroundings.
Record data and maintain files regarding individuals' health, progress, and special incidents as outlined in Title 17, title 22, and the A.A. Living Opportunities program designed.
Assists in maintenance of administrative records, individual files, inventories and weekly schedules as needed.
Advocate on behalf of the individual; uphold respectful and efficient communication with participant and all relevant parties. Understand organization and support systems relating to the individual's life.
Attend all required trainings and staff meetings.
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
To meet the ongoing care and supervision needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs according to contract to care.
To communicate daily with direct supervisor.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Prior experience providing direct care and supervision to persons with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
Excellent communication skills; respectful and positive attitude toward individuals, coworkers, contractors and home visitors.
Ability to complete training of nonphysical methods of crisis intervention within the first 45 days of employment.
Ability to complete required staff training and a minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually.
Ability to complete orientation and on the job training within the first two weeks of employment.
Able to meet Title 17 requirements including, but not limited to:
Minimum age of 18
High school diploma or GED certificate
Health screen and TB clearance
Live scan fingerprint and a clear criminal record
CPR and first aid training
Valid and current and California driver's license
Clear driving record
Handwrite in English
Ability to lift up to 10lbs in the course of normal housework such as laundry and dishes
Ability to use common household appliances such as a vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, oven and stove, and laundry machines
Some weekend evening and overnight shifts is required
Job Requirements:
Must be able to meet Title 17, 58643 requirements of Community Service Associates by having the skill, training, or education necessary to:
Establish and maintain a constructive and appropriate personal relationship with consumers;
Minimize risks of endangerment to the health, safety, and well-being of consumers;
Perform first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and operate 24-hour Emergency Assistance systems, as appropriate to the need with respect to any specific consumer; and
Achieve the intended results of the service being performed.
Maintain current and valid licenses, certificates, or registrations that may be legally required to provide the service.
In Addition:
All Community Living Associates must document daily in the forms of electronic records and handwritten documentation.
All Community Living Associates must report incidents and daily synopsis in a manner that facilitates accurate, fast and efficient communication.
Community Living Associates must monitor and adhere to the Individual Support Plan with the intention of teaching and assisting as the participant tolerates.
Community Living Associates may develop a schedule of tasks, with the participant's consent, that allows the CLA to complete each required task during the shift with or without the participant's active participation however the participant's immediate needs and preferences always take priority and the CLA must make arrangements to rectify all missed assignments whenever possible.
Community Living Associates are respectful towards all employees and participants at all times and do what it takes to be the best always.
Community Living Associates understand that there is greatness in teamwork. Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a group to achieve a common goal or to complete a task in the most effective and efficient way. Must complete annual training on the following topics per title 17 58652:
Recent developments in the theory and practice of SLS;
Policies, procedures, and practices of the SLS vendor targeted at meeting IPP objectives for SLS; and
Identification of service delivery issues and challenges, and the accumulated experience of the SLS vendor's staff and others in dealing with them.
