69-bed facility with a 28-bed Emergency Department that sees 36k+ visits annually.
35 adult inpatient beds, and 6 ICU beds.
Certified Primary Stroke Center.
Sutter Family Medicine Residents rotate through the ED.
On-call services include IM, Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Teleneurology, Telepsychiatry, Nephrology, GI, Urology, Ophthalmology, and ENT.

TRANSPORTATION OF PERSONS SERVED
Transport persons served as needed to and from community activities/appointments/errands, etc. This may be in a personal vehicle, BI vehicle, or riding public transportation.
Follow all inspection/cleanliness of vehicle requirements before/after each use.
Ensure safe entry and exit protocols, as well as ensure the safety of individuals while in a moving vehicle (i.e., tie-downs and seatbelts).
Triplog application (with Magic Trip enabled) must be used for all personal vehicle and fleet mileage driven during your scheduled work day. Trips must be reviewed, corrected, and submitted daily or at the start of the next shift.
Applicable inspections performed via Fleetio application prior to usage of any BI vehicle at any time.
OTHER
Assist with the setup of various program spaces for activities (chairs, tables, etc.).
All BI working hours should be performed at a BI location, in the individual's home, or at a community site with the individual. Exceptions need to be pre-approved by your supervisor.
Provide support as a Direct Support Professional working in any BI program, including but not limited to providing in-home care, transportation, and in-community services for persons served.

Key Responsibilities
Support residents with daily living needs (grooming, bathing, hygiene, mobility, communication)
Assist with medication administration, following the Seven Rights
Supervise and participate in community/recreational outings
Prepare meals and maintain compliance with food safety standards
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Record data in compliance with Title 17, Title 22, and program design
Use Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) techniques to manage challenging behaviors (assaultive, SIB, property destruction, PICA, etc.)
Advocate for residents and communicate respectfully with all parties
Attend required trainings and meetings
Maintain professional conduct and attire
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
Excellent communication skills with a respectful, positive attitude
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
Health screening and TB clearance
RBT certification with BCBA supervision (if applicable)
Title 22 Requirements:
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
CPR and First Aid certification
Valid CA Drivers License with a clean driving record
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Assist residents during community outings or facility navigation, which may involve walking or moving quickly up to 12 miles per shift.
Stand or walk for extended periods, including at least 1 continuous hour, to monitor and engage with residents.
Lift, carry, or transfer up to 25 lbs., such as resident assistance aids or supplies, as needed for daily care.
Apply approved Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques to manage behavioral incidents, which may involve physical redirection or restraint.
Respond quickly in emergencies, including running short distances or assisting with resident transfers, to ensure safety.
Use a computer or tablet for documentation and care plan updates for up to 1 hour at a time.
Safely operate a 68 passenger van to transport residents to appointments or community outings, requiring a valid drivers license and compliance with state driving regulations.
