Responsibilities: assist client in maintaining the cleanliness of their residence, including household chores, room cleaning, and personal laundry, driving to program's. Report and document medical information. Supervise clients in meal preparation & cleanup. Hourly bed checks and assist with medication management. Assist with personal hygiene care. Other duties as assigned by House Managers.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Treatment Support
Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating preparation and understanding of patient needs, progress, barriers, and treatment strategies.
Complete baseline clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, in accordance with program standards and supervision requirements.
Conduct therapeutic and psychoeducational groups as assigned.
Assist therapists and case managers with patient care coordination, clinical tasks, and daily treatment support.
Provide coverage for assigned patient caseloads in the absence of primary therapists, as directed and within scope of practice.
Patient Engagement & Support
Assist patients in identifying and managing external stressors that may impact treatment engagement and progress.
Support therapists in family communication, coordination, and documentation related to patient care.
Promote patient engagement, accountability, and continuity throughout the treatment process.
Documentation, Compliance & Accreditation
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes in the electronic medical record.
Maintain clinical records in accordance with organizational policies, licensure requirements, and accrediting body standards.
Demonstrate adherence to confidentiality regulations, ethical standards, and patient privacy requirements.
Support discharge planning activities in collaboration with therapists and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or another related Human Services field that qualifies the individual for clinical licensure eligibility.
Licensure-eligible or actively pursuing licensure in a behavioral health discipline, where applicable is strongly preferred.
Experience in behavioral health, mental health, and/or substance use disorder treatment settings, preferred.
Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics and professional standards of conduct.
Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality regulations.
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and documentation expectations.
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical support skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The employee frequently stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls and must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust focus.

Ensure on-grounds activities meet the needs of the youth.

Skills/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED at a minimum, in addition to one or more of the following: Bachelor's Degree in the Social Sciences or Child Development, Previous experience as an employee or volunteer at a group home, STRTP, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year; “Lived” experience in the child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, or developmental disabilities system as a consumer or caregiver; Minimum of one hundred (100) hours of relevant experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor or counselor. Must have special training in the area of recreation counseling and running recreation activities.
Should be able to develop an extensive recreation schedule and treatment plans.
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
Must possess a valid California driver's license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity's insurance carrier.
Should have an interest in working directly with youth in accordance with the general requirements as established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.
