Your day as a Lead DirectSupportProfessional
As a Full-Time Lead DirectSupportProfessional (DSP) at DDRC, you play a key role in ensuring high-quality supports are delivered consistently and effectively. You will work closely with the Program Manager and Nurse to support and guide the DirectSupport Team while also providing hands-on directsupport.
In this role, you will help prioritize daily tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in interdisciplinary and staff meetings to promote collaboration, clear communication, and continuity of care. A critical part of this position includes supervising and administering medications, as well as providing life skills training in areas such as relationships, sex education, safety, and money management.
You will actively monitor and address the medical needs of the people you support, ensuring any concerns are communicated promptly to the Program Manager and Nurse. Additionally, you will assist with staff scheduling and coverage, support onboarding and training for new staff, and help maintain a positive and effective team culture.

University of Colorado's APP Fellowship in Child in Adolescent Psychiatry is an optional, post-licensure training program for new graduate PMHNPs interested in advanced training in the subspecialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. The Fellowship is 9 months in duration and will occur at the Pediatric Mental Health Institute (PMHI) at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO. APP Fellows rotate through six departments within PMHI gaining exposure to patients across a broad range of ages and diagnoses. One month of elective allows APP Fellows to return to a department within PMHI of their choosing while integrating additional clinical experiences outside of PMHI. Learning collaboratively with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician Fellows, APP Fellows will have one half day per week of didactics from experts in child and adolescent psychiatry. Didactic topics include but are not limited to: advanced pharmacotherapy, pharmacogenomics, and neuroscience. Essential physical requirements:

About this role
As a Community Support Case Manager, you will work in a team environment with families who are either in jeopardy of having their children or youth removed from the home or have already been removed all through the utilization of trauma informed care models and evidence-based practices. To prevent removal, you will meet with the family in their home and the community to address child welfare concerns such as housing, abuse, neglect, and other such barriers. For separated families, provide and engage in parenting skills training, psycho-education to increase a family's bond, and in-the-moment re-direction and parent coaching in order to promote a safe and successful reunification. You will educate families on life skills, parenting, and the effects of trauma. This position acts as an advocate and support for the families, setting goals, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation if required by the referral. You will meet with your supervisor regularly for your professional growth.

Parker Personal Care Homes is looking for dedicated, honest, and responsible respite providers to provide compassionate care and support to adults with Developmental Disabilities. Care can include services and supports that might include personal care, problem solving, safety in the community, including the individual in community and recreational activities, increasing levels of independence, managing challenging behaviors, and/or assisting with medical needs.
What type of training does a Respite Provider receive?
PPCH provides specialized training to all providers with no charge to you.
Training includes:
CPR/First Aid
Medication Administration
Customer Rights & many other areas
Behavior Safety Training
All host homes are monitored closely by PPCH to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest level of care
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Professionalism and Compassion
Focus on individualized care and support
Ability to teach others
Good written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
Clear background screening and reference checks
Ability to chart individual progress through a web-based system
Ability to ensure the health and safety of the individuals in your care
Experience with Developmental Disabilities is preferred but not required
