Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI is currently recruiting for Adult Residential Support Professionals for a new addictions recovery program in Oconomowoc, WI. LSS Recovery Center Oconomowoc provides up to 30 beds for adult women in need of Medically Monitored Treatment and Transitional Residential Treatment. Services are gender specific and trauma informed. The facility does allow for infants up to age 3 months to reside with their mothers who are receiving SUD treatment services.
As as Support Professional, your role is to help these ladies stay clean and sober, adhere to the requirements of the program, pass medication, provide meals, complete household chores, etc. This is a part-time, weekend only position, 10 hr days and a one hour staff meeting during the week. The role offers pay at $17.75/hr.

Maintains awareness of clinical treatment plan and supports residents in achieving goals

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Possess standard reading, writing, math skills, problem solving capability, and the ability to accept/follow through with direction and both recognize and adhere to professional boundaries. The ability to provide services and function as a team member with patience, self-control and flexibility is essential.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

We are looking to hire a part-time DSP for our Adult Day Center in Waukesha to work Mondays - Thursdays around 32 hours per week from 7:30 PM - 3:30 PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (FUNCTIONS) include the following:
• Interacts with participants in a respectful, age-appropriate, and culturally-appropriate manner by honoring participant preferences and requests, in conjunction with behavior plans and care information.

What you will be doing?
DSP Case Manager is responsible for the designated case management tasks of an assigned caseload of up to 16 clients within the I/DD Service Programs. The essential job responsibilities include management of client financial matters, maintaining Public Entitlements, coordination of services per client strategies, ensuring data collection and billing documentation, and compiling reports as required in accordance with DHS, HCBS, and CARF standards, as applicable. The role assists in developing and implementing individual programs to maximize the client's independent community living skills and inclusion in their community. Case Managers may complete client case record reviews and advise/assist QIDP with corrections as needed. This position is expected to participate in direct service as needed and may also work with clients who require intensive care including but not limited to toileting and bathing, special diets with personal and/or enteral feeding, and enhanced funding. We are hiring caring, dependable and trustworthy pet lovers to join our dynamic team. We offer flexible, “as needed” Overnight Dog/House-sitter positions that work well as supplemental income.
Job Description
Is this a good fit for you? We are looking for candidates who:
Love Animals! You don't need prior animal work experience, but should enjoy providing companionship to dogs, cats and other little critters.
Enjoy being outside in all four seasons and the weather that comes with them! (Rain, snow, heat, cold, wind...)
Live near our service area: Because Heaven Sent does not compensate for travel time/commute, we are mainly interested in candidates who live in or near (within 10-15 miles) one of our service areas (Wilmette, Evanston, or Kenilworth).
Provide excellent customer service through personalized notes, photos, and messages
Enjoy walking and are able to handle the activity level of walking dogs for 3-5 walks per day (1½ - 2½ hours). You must be able to do so with a focus on safety
Have strength to safely control dogs of all sizes and breeds. (It's a plus if you can manage 2 dogs at a time (from one household))
Qualifications
Requirements:
OVERNIGHT STAYS: must sleep over in client's home with client's animals from 7pm-7am (at a minimum).
Available Holidays: be available to house-sit during the entire week for at lease 2 of our “Premium Holidays” (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's and Spring Break)
Equipment Needed: (1) smartphone with data plan and (2) reliable insured car (preferred)
Background & References: must (1) be at least 21 years old; (2) provide personal and professional references; (3) submit previous employers for verification; and (4) willing to submit to background check if a position is offered
Pet Care: able to manage (1) all pet feedings & medications; (2) other tasks such as bringing in mail/newspaper, plant care, cleaning up messes (ie: hairballs, accidents), and (3) keeping the home in order while clients away.

ABOUT THE JOB
Some people with disabilities choose to participate in park district or recreation department programs alongside people without disabilities. That's where we come in. NSSRA's Inclusion services are available to participants of programs offered within NSSRA's thirteen partner communities at no additional cost to the family.
Inclusion Companions are responsible for working with individuals of varied ages and disabilities in recreation programs throughout NSSRA's partner agencies. This includes everything from recognizing and implementing activity adaptations to encouraging positive peer interactions. Companions may work a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 ratio based on participant needs.
Becoming an Inclusion Companion is a great way to contribute your talents, learn new job skills and build meaningful relationships. In this role, you are responsible for the following tasks:
* Actively engage and supervise individuals with disabilities.
* Ensure the safety of participants during recreation events, transportation, transition times, etc.
* Submit timely reports, evaluations and timesheets, maintaining accurate and complete records.
* Communicate professionally and consistently with participants, parents, fellow staff and the general public when needed.
* Fulfill other duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU
* To be an Inclusion Companion you must be 16 years of age or older.
* No experience is necessary, but a desire to learn and grow as a professional and be a team player is required. Training is provided for all of our employees.
* Additional duties will be explained during the interview process and orientation.

THE FINE PRINT
All positions are part-time and work schedules may range from a minimum of 1 hour per week up to 28 hours per week. Scheduling is assigned by program season, and hours are flexible and can be adjusted per season. Reliable transportation is required to ensure attendance at all scheduled programs. When committing to work a program you must be able to work all meeting dates for the entire season.
Pay: Starting at $16.50 per hour
