We provide therapeutic psycho-social rehabilitation groups, community outings, medication management, as well as individual therapy. MSHN also offers enhanced and medically fragile housing services to those individuals who have complex behavioral issues and/or medical issues in addition to mental illness. These services include treatment and nursing and/or physician professionals. We are not just a group home, we are a full-service supportive living program.
RESIDENT SAFETY:
Ensure residents are safe and not in the way of danger at any time. Proper Supervision of residents at all times and performing necessary checks. Never leave any residents by themselves or in a situation where they would be unsupervised. De-escalate residents to maintain group safety and help them regain self-control. Immediately report any unsafe environmental circumstances. Read and be familiar with fire and other natural disaster evacuation plans.
PROFESSIONALISM:
Be receptive to supervisory feedback, recognize your own weaknesses, and identify ways to strengthen them. Maintain all necessary training and seek out additional information that will aid in personal development. Maintain current knowledge on psychiatric disorders and mental health disorders. TIME AND ATTENDANCE:
Be on time and ready to work for your shift. When unable to attend work due to illness, contact your supervisor with as much notice as possible. MEDICATION ASSISTANCE:
Adhere to policy and procedure of Medication Assistance as overviewed in Medication Assistance documentation. Ensuring that the correct medication and the correct resident on the correct schedule are being done and appropriately initialing the MAR while medication assistance is going on. Sending the correct medications with residents as they go on outings or pass and notifying ED and/or LPN of any discrepancies in medication or if the medication is running low for some reason. Appropriately document any PRN medications as they are needed.
RESIDENT INTERACTION:
Conduct Psycho-Social Rehabilitation discussions and activities. Respect the residents' right to privacy and dignity. Provide positive encouragement as you educate them in order to help them accomplish the necessary skills for independent living. Always model appropriate behavior utilizing yourself as the standard for residents. As needed assist or supervise residents with personal hygiene needs and appropriate clothing choices. DOCUMENTATION AND COMMUNICATION:
Always complete accurate, thorough documentation in a timely manner. When completing incident forms, do not leave any blanks or leave out significant information. Ensure all checklists and deep cleaning logs are completed on time. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Complete the intershift communication book and verbally communicate pertinent information to the next shift. At the beginning of shift; check the staff communication book for new memos and initial any memos after you have read them. Report all incidents immediately following the proper chain of command.
ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS:
Start your shift by completing a walk-through evaluation and addressing any issues. Refer to the daily rounds checklist to ensure everything has been covered. Assist and supervise residents in the completion of their chores and/or any cleaning jobs as they arise. Check your shift-specific checklists and complete them in a timely manner.
FOOD PREPARATION:
Prepare meals as dictated by the weekly menu or make appropriate substitutions as necessary with proper clearance from your supervisor. Check the menu and takeout food to thaw for the next day's meals. Appropriately label (time/date, what it is) and store any/all left over food items.

At the Cerebral Palsy Center our mission is to help our supported individuals to have the fullest life that they possibly can. Our Direct Support Professionals are the driving force behind this mission. As a DSP at the Cerebral Palsy Center the selected applicant(s) will engage in day to day activities with our supported individuals to include personal care - hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, etc. DSP's will also support our individuals by transporting them to places throughout the community to encourage their independence. All DSP's are expected to strictly adhere to assigned schedules of community support, including van routes and community outings. DSP's must complete all required documentation in a timely manner with accurate data and then provide said documentation to Case Managers. The ability to multi-task is an essential element of this position. DSP's may have up to three individuals assigned to their care at any given time and DSP's must be able to keep track of all assigned supported people at all times. DSP's must ensure that all required training in Relias is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Failure to complete required training timely may result in the employee not being able to continue working until said training is done.
The following things are required in order to be considered for a DSP role with the Cerebral Palsy Center:
Valid TN Driver's License as selected applicant(s) will be driving company vehicles.
A clean motor vehicle record. A poor MVR will disqualify an applicant from further employment consideration.
A valid high school diploma.

At Kardia Transport, we're looking to expand our team of delivery drivers Seasonal from October 13 - January 14. The role will be to deliver Amazon packages through an assigned route, to which if you complete early, you may be asked to perform a rescue. We practice teamwork at Kardia Transport.
We are seeking people who understand the challenges of delivery. Our preferred person will have the qualities expected of any job role. Start work on time, be reliable, work within their means, and be honest and open with their seniors about any grievances or problems they may have.
The right delivery driver will put safety first, have an expected level of customer service skills, and will have the flexibility needed to fulfil a role such as this one.
Due to the nature of Amazon deliveries, we hope you understand that open availability is required, as we operate seven days a week.

The Childcare Attendants are stationed in the Childcare area of the Fitness Center, and must always remain there when children are present. Our members entrust us with what is most dear to them, their children. Therefore, we must always strive to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and put the members at ease with placing them in our care.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Playing and interacting with the children in Childcare (NEVER just sitting and watching them)
Never leave the children unattended.
You must abide by and always enforce “Childcare Rules” with no exceptions.
Greeting members (introduce yourself if needed)
Facilitating check-in and check-out procedures in Childcare. Be vigilant in children arriving and leaving the Childcare and verifying that they are the children of the member that is placing them in the Childcare. Members are not allowed to bring children into the Childcare who are not their own. If this situation arises, contact your supervisor.
Providing exceptional customer service to our members and their children
Keeping the Childcare environment clean and safe by performing daily and weekly cleaning tasks and routine maintenance surveillance as outlined by the Childcare Supervisor and/or Children's Activity Director
Assisting in promoting various programs (esp. kids programming) to parents
Cleaning responsibilities that are outlined in the Children's Programs Handbook and the Childcare Cleaning Checklist
Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings as needed

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS - WHO YOU ARE:
Possess or be in the process of obtaining Child/Infant CPR certification (must be certified within 60 days of hire)
Prior experience with children, preferably in a Childcare setting involving programs, activities, etc.
Enough mobility to move about the Childcare area to play/interact with the children, keep the environment safe and clean, and tend to the overall needs of the busy environment of the Childcare.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
