Counsel individuals on behavioral concerns, basic decision-making, and the resolution of minor issues. Provide transportation for individuals/residents to appointments and scheduled activities. Perform housekeeping duties such as washing clothes/dishes, dusting, running errands, wiping baseboards, sweeping, mopping, and other related tasks. Implement interventions developed by the Behavior Analyst in the Behavior Support Plan to prevent challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals during crisis situations. Utilize de-escalation strategies to reduce and prevent harmful behaviors in crisis situations. Collaborate closely with the Behavior Analyst, treatment team members, and facility staff to coordinate crisis management approaches and ensure consistency in behavior support strategies. Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience): Requires High School Diploma. Requires certification as a registered behavioral technician At least 1 year working in behavioral health/ intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or related field Must have good computer skills. Communications skills and the ability to foster good relationships among others is a plus.
