Provider Education Coordinator would have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of Medicare Advantage or Commercial risk adjustment experience including at least 4 years of experience in a HCC Coding Audit or Network Management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPC and/or CRC credentials preferred
Skills and Attributes:
Strong consulting, communication (written and verbal), influencing, and facilitation skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools and proven ability to display analytical data and research findings for effective presentations and improved decision making.
Knowledge of health care industry trends, provider relations, and risk adjustment HCC coding, ICD10 diagnosis coding.
Knowledge of health insurance preferred, including medical and dental terminology, procedural and diagnosis coding, reimbursement methodologies and various provider network arrangements.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Develops, coordinates, and drives risk adjustment education initiatives with network providers and acts as primary point of contact for assigned key provider engagements across Commercial and Medicare lines of business
Coordinate outreach, communication, training, and education for providers that have been identified through various operational reporting channels as a candidate for provider education engagement
Works with key leaders within the provider organization to engage with and drive successful performance of the provider engagement.
Assists senior leadership with special projects related to advancing Cambia's value based and innovative provider relationships.
Participates in definition of project deliverables, providing consultation, recommendations, and solutions, reviewing project mandates and directives to determine overall provider engagement approach
Leads, under the direction of management, in design and implementation of initiative related administrative policies and procedures and provides guidance and direction to the work team

The expected hiring range for a Provider Educator is $83,300.00 - $111,600.00 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $78,000.00 to $128,000.00.

Summary of Functions
The Medical Provider's primary responsibility is to evaluate opioid use disorder and to prescribe and adjust appropriate opioid use disorder treatment medications as indicated. These include methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone, and naltrexone. Medical Providers also evaluate and treat other co-occurring substance use disorders when indicated. The individual in this position shall be an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in the State of Washington.
This Clinic believes that Medication Assisted Treatment is the most evidence-based and patient-centered model of care for treating opioid use disorder. The Medical Provider should adhere to and value the philosophical priorities of Harm Reduction and treat all patients with respect, compassion, and dignity. The Medical Provider will report directly to the Medical Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Medical Providers are responsible for preserving the integrity of the Camas Health Recovery Center properties by performing the following duties:
Ensure implementation of all clinic policies and procedures; recommend policy and procedure updates and changes as necessary.
Ensure timely and complete documentation of treatment records, medication security, and any other documentation required by federal, state, and local agencies.
Ensure that the clinic protects the rights and confidentiality of all patients.
Conduct intake medical assessment and diagnosis and determine initial medication choice and dose.
Conduct patient dose evaluations and change medications as indicated.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and make appropriate recommendations for follow-up.
Document findings and decision-making about care in electronic health record
Maintain timely and appropriate communication and attend meetings as requested.
Facilitate appropriate communication and referrals with outside medical providers for needed care and follow-up.
Evaluate, as necessary, patients with urgent or emergent medical needs and determine if further medical assistance is necessary.
Write medical orders for all take-home privileges, seeking regulatory exceptions as necessary.
Comply with other ad hoc requests and projects as assigned.
Maintain a strong policy knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws and regulations regarding Opioid Treatment Programs
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with CFR-related privacy principles and HIPAA policies and procedures
Participate in federal and state substance use disorder training and continuing education as needed to safely and effectively perform in the position.
Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the clinic's mission and commitment to patient experience.
Education & Licensure Requirements
Nurse Practitioners shall be certified and licensed as a nurse practitioner in the state of Washington.
All Medical Providers must have Schedule II - V prescriptive authority from the State of Washington.
Experience
At least one year of experience treating substance use disorders is desired.
Experience in treating opioid use disorder is preferred.
Experience working within an Opioid Treatment Program will be given hiring preference.
DATA waiver for prescription of buprenorphine is desired but not required.
Applicants should have experience in, comfort with, and desire for working with patients with substance use disorders, behavioral health diagnoses, and socioeconomic challenges, as well as a basic knowledge of the properties and side effects of opioid use disorder treatment medications and other substances used by our population.
Other Requirements
Obtain and maintain a Level 3 Kalispel Tribe of Indians Work Permit
Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Physical Demands

Essential Job Functions:
· ● Adhering to all of the mentoring guidelines, crisis intervention) safety, and program expectations.
· ● Communicating with all mentors regarding coordinating events, student needs, and expectation of student tasks and projects.
· ● Developing student's projects and communicating with mentors and students accordingly.
· ● Ensuring mentors and students are following the safety requirements during the projects.
· ● Planning projects or events that are student-specific, to benefit each student specifically
· ● Cover mentoring shifts as needed.
· ● Knowledge of woodworking, farm work, etc. and being able to use a multitude of technical skills, such as film editing, managing media resources, and an ability to learn new skills to assist a student in learning.
· ● Manage transportation and student schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
· ● Must have Direct Care, Mentoring, Life Coaching, or Equivalent experience
· ● Have a high school diploma or equivalent
· ● Possess a valid driver's license
· ● Must be able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting and drug testing

What You'll Do:
Provide supervision and actively engage participants, while providing positive reinforcement
Assist with daily living responsibilities, such as, cooking meals, keeping a clean-living environment, assistance with medications, grocery shopping, healthcare appointments, etc.
Participate in community activities with participant, such as, going to movies, bowling, Kroc Center classes/workouts, hiking, fishing, camping, Specialized Needs Recreations (SNR), Special Olympics, etc. (Must be willing to use personal car for community outings)
Complete personal care needs for certain individuals (toileting, showering, perineal care, etc.)
Foster a positive living environment
Encourage independently living skills
Complete and maintain participant documentation
Prevention and management of crisis (to provide a safe environment)
What You'll Need:
Must be at least 18 years old
