We are hiring Construction Managers / Directors to support the development and implementation of energy infrastructure projects (both behind-the-meter, and increasingly on the utility side of the meter) in support of our strategic energy partners, including major Utilities, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and Service Providers. This position is responsible for in-the-field management of projects including cross-functional work management between opportunity development and project implementation.

This role can range from Manager/Sr. Manager through Director/Sr. Director level with opportunities for advancement (level to be determined based on experience), will report to the Head of Energy Services, and will be a key contributor to our expanding Energy Services organization. This position is perfect for someone experienced in managing a complex stakeholder environment with a strong dedication to delivering quality service to customers.

This role is flexible on location, and will include travel within the continental US up to 50% of the time. We expect you to spend some time in Washington, DC to collaborate with other members of the team, learn the ins and outs of our business, and contribute to our company culture. This, of course, depends on local COVID rules and regulations.

Manage implementation activities as the key PoC for the end use customers of our energy infrastructure Bring subject matter expertise to the development and implementation of energy technology like HVAC equipment, Generators, EV Charging stations, Energy Management Systems, and similar Communicate project development and implementation progress and challenges effectively internally and externally Collaborate with our Business Development and Project Development teams on development of customer solutions Manage weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting to key stakeholders Bring lessons learned back to the larger team and help build out the tools and processes of a robust commercial organization Troubleshoot cross functionally as situations arise

Required Qualifications & Skills5-15+ years of construction management, technical project management, and / or trade contracting experience in HVAC, control system, electrical and/or distributed generation markets, with the ability to create and maintain project plans and schedules Experience presenting to multiple levels of stakeholders, up through and including executives Strong written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated mental agility and ability to switch between contexts quickly Skilled at making sound and defensible decisions in the face of incomplete information Knack for building long-term and trusting relationships Consultative approach to relationship management and meeting preparation (organized, anticipatory, goal-oriented) Experience translating technical into plain English
