We are looking for a Director to join Qualcomm's Developer Relations team where the person will be responsible for building strategy and driving cross‑functional execution for our DevRel plans with focus on AI.
You will drive initiatives to better understand developer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and align our developer products with real‑world use cases. This role combines industry and developer research, strategic planning, product management, and partner outreach, creating a direct impact on Qualcomm's perception among developers, partners and customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead our developer relations strategy around scaling advocacy and engagement programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, industry influencers, and other key stakeholders.
Identify new and innovative ways to connect with developers and drive engagement.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create and execute impactful developer programs and initiatives.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in developer relations, and use this knowledge to continuously improve our strategy and tactics.
Work closely with BU product and engineering teams to ensure developer feedback is incorporated into product development and updates.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners and third‑party organizations to expand the company's developer community.
Participate in cross‑functional conversations around the development of a developer focus product portfolio that meets customer needs and aligns with product roadmaps.
Drive communication plan and communicate appropriately with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior management to build relationships, ensure alignment and buy‑in, and achieve DevRel program & product goals as well as manage any planned changes.
Drive effective cross‑functional collaboration by ensuring that Engineering and other internal partners (i.e., program management) meet developer expectations, promised deadlines, and align with overall roadmap for product portfolio(s).
Ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of Developer Relations or Product Management/Engineering for Developer products.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of Product Management working on Developer Products, Developer Relations or related work experience.
4+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
Strong strategic thinking with a proven track record of influencing product roadmaps based on research findings.
Partner outreach experience with a background in community engagement, developer advocacy, or partnership management.
Familiarity with Qualcomm's developer tools, APIs, and technical ecosystems.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with financial modeling, market sizing, and competitive benchmarking.
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities-able to translate technical details into clear business impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

About the Role
As the Chief People Officer, you will serve as a strategic leader and the steward of our people, culture, and organizational health, and will report to the Chief Financial Officer as part of the executive leadership team. You will define and lead the entire people strategy, ensuring we build a high-performance, mission-aligned organization where employees feel supported, empowered, and inspired to do their best work. This role spans talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, compensation and rewards, employee experience, workforce planning, operations, and culture while championing a people-first approach that enables us to scale with clarity, cohesion, and excellence. The CPO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's long-term direction by ensuring our people practices, structures, and philosophy reinforce who we are and who we aspire to become.
What You'll Do
Develop a comprehensive, long-term people strategy aligned with company mission, goals, and growth
Serve as the principal advisor to the executive team on all organizational and people-related matters

What We Look For
15+ years of progressive HR and People leadership experience, with significant time leading at the executive level
Experience operating as a CPO, Head of People, or equivalent leader within a high-growth, fast-paced organization
HR leadership experience at a publicly traded company, with clear understanding of public company governance and regulatory expectations
Prior experience integrating people operations with business growth strategies and curiosity to understand company's innovative products
Proven ability to develop and execute people strategies that support scale, transformation, and long-term company health
Prior experience supporting and scaling a large hourly employee population
Deep expertise across organizational design, talent strategy, leadership development, compensation (including equity-based compensation) and employee experience
Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across diverse stakeholders

Compensation Range: $250,000 - $300,000/yr
