The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager (Owner's Representative) to oversee and manage the lifecycle of data center construction projects from design through commissioning. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in general contracting or trade experience with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems. Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage all phases of data center construction projects, from conceptual design, and procurement through construction, commissioning, and final handover. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved and delays are proactively addressed. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, including cost forecasting, change order management, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Quality Assurance: Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Commissioning and Handover: Manage commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are tested, documented, and operational at handover. Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to maintain project continuity and minimize disruptions. Hybrid Work Integration: Collaborate effectively during a 30-60 day hybrid work period, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities. Qualifications and Requirements: 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on data center projects. Proven experience with a General Contractor (GC) or as a trade professional (electrical or mechanical contractor). Deep understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and their integration in data center environments. Strong proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Revit). Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to interpret and oversee complex engineering drawings and construction documents. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management a plus.
