We are looking for a Director who will be a key leader within Strategic Sourcing and Procurement focused on the delivery of sourcing solutions across the global development business portfolio. This person will lead (either directly or matrix) a sourcing team who is accountable for clarifying requirements and completing and handling vendor contracts within the business in alignment with the company's sourcing strategy. We need someone to work closely with key partners across the organization to develop strong relationships and drive consistency in how work is contracted and outsourced. Our Director Global Development Sourcing will be the champion of category management for the entire SS&P organization, providing coaching, guidance, support and overall leadership to team to achieve goals.
A typical day might include:

Directs and supervises daily execution of Regeneron's sourcing strategies Either directly or through a matrix, leads an organization of multiple managers and senior level professionals responsible for carrying out larger sourcing projects Implements diverse sourcing strategies using spend portfolio knowledge Develops and communicates functional strategy and objectives for sourcing aligned with group business strategy and operations requirements Establishes overall business plan for organization with significant impact on the success of company operations As part of the leadership team, influence the strategic direction of how Regeneron uses service providers Act as a leader of category management for the entire SS&P organization, providing coaching, guidance, support and overall leadership to team to ensure goals are achieved.
