Monitors and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including required postings, employee notices. Identifies HR compliance risks and implements proactive, preventive measures. Prepares for and responds effectively to audits, agency complaints, and regulatory inquiries. Also reviews and modifies policies to maintain continuous compliance. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three years of HR management experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience in leading successful HR process improvement projects required. Certification in project management, Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement programs a definite plus. HR certification highly desired. Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment-related laws and regulations. Ability to demonstrate maturity and experience with interfacing with all levels of management and staff required. Proven ability to build relationships and partner across functional lines. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines as well as adapt well to a fast pace and change. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgets is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and other HR related systems.
