Monitor union activity and trends to proactively address potential labor relations challenges. Maintain records of labor relations activity and generate reports as needed. Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and compliant labor environment. Participate as an active member of the Human Resources Department in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Escalates issues up the chain of command as necessary. INDPRO Qualifications Pay range - $60,424 - $63,500 and is based on experience Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. 1 - 3 years of labor relations or human resources experience in a unionized setting. Healthcare setting preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships with managers, employees, and union representatives. Knowledge of Federal, NY State employment law and compliance practices. Strong attention to detail - especially for documentation and contract interpretation. Organizational and time management skills - managing multiple cases, tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Outlook and MS Office. (e.g., ADP, UKG, iCIMS) A valid NYS Driver's License and reliable transportation is required for regional travel within the organization's footprint.
