KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR DIRECTOR, STATE LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS:
The Senior Director, State Legislative Affairs will oversee EEI's day-to-day engagement with state elected officials and advocate for the industry's policy priorities. Engage with third party groups and leverage stakeholders to advance EEI member policy objectives. Engage and manage relationships with national state legislative and governor groups, as well as state policy think tanks to advance policy positions for EEI members. Work closely with EEI member company officials and internal EEI teams to develop and implement advocacy strategies and tactics to advance state policy priorities.
State Legislative Engagement and Partnerships (80%)
Represent EEI at conferences for national state legislative and governors' groups and think tanks. Work to advance EEI's key priorities with the various elected official groups and state think tanks and to promote the business model of the electric power industry.
State Issue Tracking (10%)
Work with the EEI External Affairs team and member companies to track key trends and develop and implement strategies and tactics to advance policy priorities.
Team Management (10%)
Oversee State Legislative Affairs programmatic budget. Supervise 2 direct reports: the Manager of State Legislative Affairs and the Manager of State Legislative Research.
REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree is required; advanced is preferred.
12 years or more of relevant state government affairs experience. Energy industry experience preferred.
Experience and relationships in national state legislative organizations, such as NGA, NCSL, CSG, etc. Expertise energy and/or electricity policy a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups to build consensus.
Proven leadership and management experience, including staff supervision and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to develop clear, persuasive, and technically sound materials.
Strong public speaking skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive organizational objectives in a fast-paced, evolving policy environment.
Experience working with or within industry associations, government, or policy-focused organizations is a plus.
Strong experience with MS Office products. Experience with policy tracking is a plus.
Travel requirement: up to 60 percent of the time.
Compensation
The salary range for role is $160,000-210,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. The role is eligible for a performance based bonus for the 2026 calendar year which is paid out the following March.

Primary Purpose
The Director, Project Delivery (DPD) is critical to the successful deployment of clinical project management as a function in the conduct of Biopharmaceutical‑sponsored clinical trials globally. The DPD will work collaboratively with other GPM's and SGPM's to provide oversight, guidance, and leadership to the clinical project management group. The DPD may provide line management and oversight of the project managers across the biopharma portfolio of work, ensuring effective project leadership from development of the proposal to final contractual deliverables. The DPD will be client facing. The DPD will ensure the project managers are effectively leading project delivery in agreement with the contracted project timeline and budget. The DPD ensures the Project Managers are directing project delivery by driving team and financial efficiency, work product quality, and are engaging effectively with clients to ensure client satisfaction through strong relationship management.
Responsibilities
Responsible for project delivery oversight of assigned Emmes Book of Business globally.
Collaborates Therapeutic Leads and subject matter experts to develop Best Practices, Monthly project reviews, Templates library, Bid Defaults.
Consults in the development of RFPs for biopharma clients, identifying appropriate strategy, team structure, preparing proposal language, and developing budget and timelines in collaboration with leaders and key subject matter experts.
Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, feedback, and ongoing training to Project Managers including addressing performance issues, conducting formal performance appraisals, and creating development plans.
Ensures appropriate training occurs and evaluates proficiency or additional training needs of PM staff.
Provides oversight of operational deliverables and financial health of projects.
Serves as a point of escalation for PMs, sponsors, and other functions relative to overall project management in a study governance capacity.
Develops successful working relationships with clients, executive management, and functional leads to provide oversight of project issues, proactively identify and mitigate risks and drive milestone achievement.
Ensures PMs are tracking project deliverables against contract using Emmes' tools & Key Performance Indicators, as defined by the project or organizational metrics.
Reviews study metrics to ensure risk mitigation and performance according to contract. Monitor trends and drive changes to project management as needed.
Ensures adherence to quality control expectations and milestone timelines for delivery of contractually required reports and deliverables.
Ensures changes in scope are identified and managed appropriately. Support PMs in collaborations with Business Development, Contracts Department, and executive management to ensure timely execution of contract amendments/change orders.
Presents and prepares PMs to present in bid defense meetings in collaboration with Business Development Lead or other key stakeholders.
Identifies and documents lessons learned from study successes and challenges to promote development of best practices and work with global colleagues to develop or revise standards for best practice.
Support the identification and implementation of tools and process integrations that support the efficiency and productivity of PMs. This may include, but is not limited to collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to support global, PM efficiency and standardization within the department.
Models and propagates Emmes' commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of our deliverables, utilizing a solution‑based, science‑driven, value‑added approach in collaborating with clients.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
Minimum 7 years demonstrating scientific principles appropriate in managing a clinical research portfolio inclusive of 3 or more years in a pharmaceutical and/or CRO setting, serving in a global Clinical Trial Team Lead or Project Management role or equivalent position.
Demonstrable track‑record of success delivering complex/high priority clinical trials within agreed time, quality and cost working across multiple therapeutic areas, phases 1‑3, in a global capacity.
Demonstrated experience in developing and fostering strong client and internal relationships.
Thorough understanding of International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and knowledge of SOP's guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Skilled in MS Office Suite of products and working knowledge of Clinical Trial Management Systems, electronic Trial Master File, and electronic Data Capture systems and solutions and project support tools.
Demonstrated experience in managing diverse staff and leading successful teams with direct and indirect supervision responsibilities.
Travel between corporate locations and client sites as appropriate.

Summary of Position
The Senior Director, Global Commercial Lead will be the single point of accountability for the commercial leadership of Curium's priority imaging asset globally. This individual will coordinate across functions and regions to support the strategic planning and launch of an advanced diagnostic program. This role is part of the global commercial team and supports alignment across the U.S., Japan, and Europe. This role sits on the global team and supports country level readiness across functions, with a focus on execution, adaptation, and customer engagement.
Candidates with a strong commercial background in sales, marketing, or strategy are preferred, though internal candidates looking to expand into commercial may be considered with the appropriate support.
This is a remote position with frequent travel to St. Louis, MO.
Essential Functions
Act as single point of accountability for commercialization of this priority imaging asset, globally.
Adapt global strategy into executable plans for country and affiliate teams (U.S., EU, Japan).
Support execution of local launch plans, pricing strategy, and reimbursement readiness in collaboration with affiliates.
Coordinate with local teams to adapt positioning for regulatory, cultural, and language fit.
Gather local market insights from advisory boards, surveys, and field feedback to inform global decisions.
Manage relationships with affiliate leaders, local KOLs, and advocacy groups.
Support localization of promotional content and ensure materials meet local compliance standards.
Guide local digital execution strategies aligned with global tone and platform strategy.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage timeline risks and resolve operational gaps.
Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
15 or more years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical commercial, marketing, strategy, or related functions.
Commercial experience in global product launches preferred.
Strong cross-functional leadership in a matrix environment.
Global mindset is critical; oncology or radiopharma experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, conflict management, priority setting, strategic agility, building effective teams, managing vision and purpose.
Proficiency in computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience with Project Management software.
Working Conditions
Approximately 50% travel if not based in St. Louis with domestic, and occasional international travel required.
This position will work in typical office conditions with extensive time using personal computer equipment.
May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
Willingness to work in a team-based environment.
The position deals with many deadlines. Due to the short turnaround time of deadlines and limited time, overtime, weekend work and holiday work is sometimes required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (in good standing).

Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, UAS technologies, and safety best practices.
Experience in program or project management.
Experience in training is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote job sites as needed.
