The Director of Individual Giving is responsible for meeting the Whitney Museum’s annual revenue targets and ambitious operating goals by leading all aspects of fundraising from individual donors. The Director will develop comprehensive annual plans, as well as individual giving strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors to increase giving at all levels. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Philanthropy, they will set and track yearly projections and strategic long-term priorities for individual giving in support of the Whitney's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

Job Accountabilities
Design and build a comprehensive reunion giving program for the University that elevates reunion giving to a key pillar of the University's fundraising strategy and contributes to USC's long-term goals.
The Director will oversee a team of Development Officers (Associate Directors of Reunion Giving) to develop and execute a comprehensive reunion giving strategy that includes managing individual portfolios of leadership annual giving-level prospects, coordinating with the USC Annual Fund office, and collaborating with USC school-based advancement officers.
Personally manage a select portfolio of prospects, donors, and volunteers. Identify and qualify prospects through:
marketing strategy execution and follow-up

Manage the development of multi-year strategies focused on engagement, fundraising, communications, and volunteer training and retention for each reunion class.
Identify, recruit, train, brief and motivate class giving ambassadors to expand the pool of volunteers, with a focus on future leadership progression and development; and devise methods to increase their knowledge about the cultivation/solicitation process and their ability to engage and communicate with classmates.
Provide day-to-day tactical support for giving ambassadors and development colleagues centrally and in the schools; monitor the quality of solicitations and ensure partnering of key volunteers with key prospects; and capture and report metrics pertaining to assigned classes.
Organize and coordinate fundraising efforts for each class by engaging and supporting the University's leading volunteers and donors.

The Indivisible Project is hiring a Director of Institutional Giving. This position will lead institutional fundraising at Indivisible, meeting ambitious multi-million dollar annual targets by stewarding existing donors, cultivating new foundation and other institutional donor grants, and leading grants management in the organization. The position will also help the Development Team continue to build a strong, inclusive team culture.

The dynamic Indivisible development team is overseeing a multi-channel fundraising program that has grown tremendously in its first 5.5 years. We are excited to bring in a new team member who can help us build on this success by cultivating institutional donors - including public foundations, family foundations, and other institutional funders - who share our values and are passionate about democracy reform, grassroots organizing, civic leadership and civic education, and/or progressive policy issues.

We are hiring for the Director of Institutional Giving position immediately, with location flexible. The Director of Institutional Giving position is full-time, with a minimum salary of $99,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
