Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to lead the development and execution of our global market, competitor, and customer insights strategy. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business units by transforming data into actionable intelligence that guides decision‑making, shapes strategy, and accelerates growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and lead the global business intelligence function and strategy, ensuring alignment with Charles River's strategic priorities.

Synthesize competitor data into concise, actionable intelligence for executives and commercial teams.
Support scenario planning and “war gaming” exercises to anticipate competitor moves and guide proactive strategy.
Lead advanced analysis of customer data, including segmentation, behavior, satisfaction, and share of wallet.
Partner with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, improve customer retention, and guide go‑to‑market strategies.
Ensure customer voice and feedback are integrated into business and service/product decisions.

Oversee the design and deployment of BI tools, dashboards, and reporting systems, in partnership with Global Technology, to make insights accessible across the organization.
Champion the use of advanced analytics, data visualization, and predictive modeling to improve strategic foresight.
Drive data governance, quality, and integration across multiple internal and external data sources.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or Life Sciences required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, market research, consulting, or corporate strategy, ideally within life sciences, healthcare, or related industries.
Proven track record leading BI or insights teams with direct impact on corporate strategy and growth.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into executive‑ready insights.
Strong leadership and people management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at influencing senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Compensation Data

Responsibilities

Build upon existing data collection instruments and methodologies to identify program/service/department level impact, outcomes, indicators of success and the theories of change that we will use to achieve the results and to generate optimal data to measure progress in achieving program/service outcomes.
Assist and train agency leaders and staff on the use and interpretation of data for quality improvement and strategic decision making.
Work with others to share and interpret findings and lead efforts to adopt practices and build capacity and capabilities of a learning organization.
Lead initiatives on behalf of the Agency consisting of direct or matrixed personnel in project planning, design, and execution to realize Agency strategy for the betterment of Catholic Charities services. Provide clear communication of key findings to a variety of sponsors and stakeholders including agency Staff, Executives, Board Members, Funders, and Community Practitioners.
Be a champion and collaborative partner in accreditation for the entire agency, especially in the areas of quality improvement and data usage. Provide consultation and guidance that enable those responsible for execution and adherence to compliance.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Purpose
The Brand Lead, US Marketing (HCP) will work with the Global Portfolio Strategy Head, to develop and implement Global and US prioritized tactics for both disease state and branded communications in support of Chiesi's HIDO franchise. This role is based in our office in Boston, MA.
Main Responsibilities
Brand leadership of Product:
Lead the end-to-end launch strategy, ensuring alignment with global and US cross-functional teams
Develop and execute a comprehensive launch roadmap, including pre-launch planning, go-to-market strategy, and post-launch optimization
Drive launch excellence by embedding best practices, KPIs, and agile feedback loops across all launch phases
Partner with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Advocacy and Commercial teams to ensure label alignment, access strategy, and scientific narrative readiness
Ensure budget is accurately accounted for and reconciled against budget
Develop HCP strategic and branded and unbranded tactical plan in collaboration with the global commercial lead and cross-functional commercial team
Translate clinical data and patient insights into compelling value propositions and brand messaging
Leads HCP digital strategy for disease education, identifying opportunities, driving innovation, implementing tactics and measuring ROI
Drive the brand's peer-to-peer strategy, priorities and goals, and ensure that initiatives are aligned with brand business objectives, including integration of KOL strategy into overall brand marketing strategy
Lead the planning and execution of all U.S. HCP speaker programs, including content development and budget allocations
Lead the planning and execution of all U.S. Commercial advisor boards and collection of key insights
Support development of KOL engagement plans, advisory boards, and congress strategy:
Ensure brand presence at key events and scientific platforms
Engage with KOL leadership and establish commercial relationships
Develop branded, promotional tactics in alignment with the overall brand strategy
Collaborate with Thought Leader Liaison to collect field insights and transform insights into actions
Ensure successful execution of field-driven tactics through cross-functional collaboration
Refine brand messaging and tactics based on market insights and/or KPIs
Utilize high level of business acumen in analyzing and coordinating activities from identified industry trends, competitor's resources and practices
Manage agency partners on market research efforts, creation of marketing materials, and channel strategy for optimal execution of communication materials
Build cross-functional/Regional collaborations, to ensure alignment on projects/processes and to share best practices
Experience Required
5+ years sales, marketing or other relevant commercial or analytical experience
4+ years pharmaceutical brand marketing
Rare Disease experience preferred
Product launch experience highly preferred
Digital marketing experience preferred
Experience with OPDP and FDA requirements

Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including some international travel. Travel will vary by month based upon projects and meetings.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a life science; MBA, or advanced degree, preferred.
Compensation
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $190,000 to $215,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Experience and relationships in national state legislative organizations, such as NGA, NCSL, CSG, etc. Expertise energy and/or electricity policy a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups to build consensus.
Proven leadership and management experience, including staff supervision and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to develop clear, persuasive, and technically sound materials.
Strong public speaking skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive organizational objectives in a fast-paced, evolving policy environment.

Compensation
The salary range for role is $160,000-210,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications.
