The role will lead through a team of high-performing managers in establishing the infrastructure implementation governance and timeline for the IT application and service/technical delivery teams to implement and support providing guidance related to associated cost, architecture, security, and support models. The Director will work with HAGroup IT Services and Global IT teams (e.g., GISCS) to ensure that all network and server administration and related security requirements are met; environments are developed (e.g., Application UAT) and that infrastructure upgrades are executed by the appropriate teams in a timely manner. Responsibilities Leads a team of Senior Architects and Infrastructure/Platform Engineers to evaluate current and future projects, establishing internal prioritization to execute in alignment with brand priorities. Drives the architecture decisioning for the Brands' Contact Center technology, infrastructure, server and cloud strategies related to onboard and digital technologies including oversight of the data center facilities and technology stacks. Heavily influences design and architecture decisioning for commercial and shipboard networks, and Guest and Crew Internet. Demonstrates ability to create 3-5-year roadmaps while exercising flexibility when priorities change. Takes a collaborative cross-functional team approach when finalizing his or her infrastructure recommendations. Leads the process of providing subject matter guidance to other peers within the brands' IT organization. Engages with stakeholders across corporate IT, shipboard teams, third-party vendors, and executive leadership to align technology strategies with operational goals. Collaborates closely with internal infrastructure, security, and application teams, as well as managed service providers, to ensure project alignment and service excellence. Drives strategic planning and decision-making meetings, representing brand priorities in multi-brand and enterprise-level discussions. Balances and reconciles competing needs across business units to ensure shared ownership of infrastructure and service outcomes. Ensures compliance with corporate security protocols, including PCI and data protection regulations, across both shore and fleet environments. Enforces secure architecture and infrastructure standards in collaboration with security and compliance teams. Guides infrastructure-related security practices and oversees secure asset configurations. Ensures service and support teams maintain adherence to regulatory and policy standards. Manages training and operational processes to reduce risk exposure and proactively address evolving security threats and compliance requirements. Owns capital and operational budgets, including oversight of multimillion-dollar infrastructure and operations expenditures. Responsible for financial planning and stewardship of technology investments across shore and fleet environments. Evaluates vendor contracts and optimizes technology spend to align with strategic and fiscal goals set by executive leadership. Ensures cost control and ROI through lifecycle management, cost/benefit analysis, and technology standardization. Summary: Sets strategic technology direction for management and administration of key elements of the enterprise technology infrastructure in support of application availability, capacity, and recoverability requirements.
