Augusta Health's Outpatient Pavilion Surgery Center will open in 2022
The Director of Augusta Health Outpatient Pavilion Surgery Center manages organized nursing services and is accountable for the environment in which clinical nursing is practiced in the surgery center. As a member of the Nursing Leadership Team, the Director of the surgery center ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the organization's mission, goals and objectives and in compliance with AAAHC and state & federal regulatory requirements. The Outpatient pavilion Surgery Center is inclusive of: Operating Room, Central Processing, Anesthesia, Prep and Recovery, Endoscopy, and all other functions associated with the functioning of the center.
Ambulatory Surgery:
- 18-20K Cases/year Capacity
- 9,000+ Cases out of 16,000 Shifting in year 1
- 11 OR / Procedure Rooms in Total
- 7 ORs or Procedure Rooms (600+ sf each)
- 4 Endoscopy/GI Rooms (400+ sf each)
- 24 Separate Pre/Post Ops Rooms
- 8 bay chair recovery area
- Multispecialty : leading with Ortho, Urology, General Surgery, GI, Pain Management and Ophthalmology

Requirements:
BSN required, MSN preferred
3 to 5 years of management experience within surgical services with leadership experience in outpatient surgery setting
Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred
