The Director of Augusta Health Outpatient Pavilion Surgery Center manages organized nursing services and is accountable for the environment in which clinical nursing is practiced in the surgery center. As a member of the Nursing Leadership Team, the Director of the surgery center ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the organization's mission, goals and objectives and in compliance with AAAHC and state & federal regulatory requirements. The Outpatient pavilion Surgery Center is inclusive of: Operating Room, Central Processing, Anesthesia, Prep and Recovery, Endoscopy, and all other functions associated with the functioning of the center.
Ambulatory Surgery:
- 18-20K Cases/year Capacity
- 9,000+ Cases out of 16,000 Shifting in year 1
- 11 OR / Procedure Rooms in Total
- 7 ORs or Procedure Rooms (600+ sf each)
- 4 Endoscopy/GI Rooms (400+ sf each)
- 24 Separate Pre/Post Ops Rooms
- 8 bay chair recovery area
- Multispecialty : leading with Ortho, Urology, General Surgery, GI, Pain Management and Ophthalmology

About You:Required: Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years experience in healthcare, preferably within value-based care. Preferred: Master's degree or other advanced degrees in business, health administration and/or public policy, or other relevant fields.Experience assessing and operationalizing business opportunities and the key drivers of value for all parties Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing cross-functional relationships and communicating effectively with senior management.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership.Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high level of autonomy. Thinks beyond their immediate team and contributes to making Aledade holistically better (active engagement in D&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, leading roundtables, etc.)
