The Director of Augusta Health Outpatient Pavilion Surgery Center manages organized nursing services and is accountable for the environment in which clinical nursing is practiced in the surgery center. As a member of the Nursing Leadership Team, the Director of the surgery center ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the organization's mission, goals and objectives and in compliance with AAAHC and state & federal regulatory requirements. We are looking for an ambitious Director to join Aledade's growing New Ventures team. Our New Ventures team is a variety of growing business lines to complement Aledade's core business of helping independent physicians succeed in value-based care arrangements. This role is responsible for advancing key business objectives for the New Ventures team by leading work streams for new solutions as they progress through phases of discovery, design and launch. You will work collaboratively with senior management, analytics, product, field operations, and other teams as well as a network of outside vendors, partners, and consultants.

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US and traveling for meetings 2-4 times per month (always following Aledade COVID travel policies).

What you will be doing: Leading New Ventures work streams for new solutions as they progress through phases of discovery, design and launch.Building business cases for new initiatives by driving a deep understanding of potential market opportunities, exploring customer needs, prototyping possible solutions, and testing value propositions Partnering with business intelligence and impact analytics teams to gather data needed to validate business cases, support decision-making, and measure outcomes Working cross-functionally across the organization to gather information, input, and feedback, as it relates to new business initiatives

About You:Required: Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years experience in healthcare, preferably within value-based care. Preferred: Master's degree or other advanced degrees in business, health administration and/or public policy, or other relevant fields.Experience assessing and operationalizing business opportunities and the key drivers of value for all parties Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing cross-functional relationships and communicating effectively with senior management.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership.Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high level of autonomy. Thinks beyond their immediate team and contributes to making Aledade holistically better (active engagement in D&I efforts, culture initiatives, facilitating training, leading roundtables, etc.)
