Summary
The Purchasing Manager's responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and leading/developing the purchasing team in their daily activities. The Purchasing Manager works with key partners to develop long-term sourcing strategies and negotiate deals with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings or other improvements. Responsible for creating and manage cost reduction projects for the entire team.
Key Performance Indicators
· Individual should oversee all cost reduction plans and actions across the team. Should target that 70+% of spend is under a valid Lancer supplier contract
· Individual should continuously manage and improve KPIs such as Supplier On-time Delivery, PPV, Supplier Payment Terms, Supplier Lead Time, Supplier Quality Gaps, and Supplier Sustainability Scorecard
· Individual should be aware of and influencing improvements to inventory stocking and assisting to eliminate excess and obsolete stock
· Individual should have strong understanding of external industry dynamics, regulatory & geopolitical challenges, and marketplace trends in order to drive strategic opportunities
· Individual should continuously interact with other internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure that plans are being enacted to mitigate risk.

Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management:
· Continuously develop and implement Supply Chain strategies to exceed business objectives
· Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers to develop best cost strategies
· Manage relationships with all assigned suppliers and commodities
· Support supplier consolidation initiatives through the identification of “best cost” suppliers
· Negotiate global and local supply agreements
· Lead Quarterly Supplier Business Reviews to establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
· Plan and manage the inbound material supply line to achieve Supply Chain objectives.· Identify and implement process improvements within the planning/procurement process
· Work with senior management to set individual objectives and ensure progress
· Ensure new product introduction occurs in a timely manner and meets all business objectives
· Report on key performance measures, take appropriate action, and resolve performance issues
· Feed into SO&P (forecast requirements, material and capacity constraints)
Team Management and Performance:
· Create annual development plans for each team members consisting of both short-term and long-term objectives, personal development and stretch projects
· Host monthly performance reviews and assign actions to correct poor performance
· Create educational / development opportunities for all team members
· Coach and train buyers, planners and others as appropriate
· Forecast and administer the departmental budget
Compliance and Sustainability:
· Ensure personal compliance with ethical, regulatory, and compliance regulations.
· Ensure suppliers and service providers meet sustainability goals and requirements as outlined in the Supplier Code of Conduct
· Collaborate with suppliers to improve their sustainability performance

Education & Experience

· Understanding of sustainable procurement principles and practices as outlined in ISO 20400 preferred

The posted range for this position is $138,976-173,720 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.

Responsibilities
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational Build-Out
Stand up the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement function from inception - define structure, hire and identify talent across the enterprise, and establish clear roles and responsibilities.
Design and implement an enterprise-wide Target Operating Model that integrates sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, and compliance across all business lines.
Create a Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize policies, analytics, and governance.
Develop and mentor a high-performing team of category managers, procurement analysts, and supplier relationship leads across the BUs.
Process & Policy Development
Define and implement end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, ensuring consistency, control, and speed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering required.

Director of Home Sourcing - Softlines
We're are seeking a high-performing, US based Director of Home Sourcing, Softlines to lead vendor relationships and sourcing strategy across our North America supply base. * Strategic Sourcing: act as Faire's primary sourcing lead across priority categories. Identify savings opportunities, negotiate contracts / renewals, and eliminate duplicative vendor spend. Support business stakeholders in vendor evaluation, RFPs, term structuring, and escalation management.
* Systems & Operations: partner with Systems, Accounting and Legal teams to improve the procurement platform implementation including PO line item logic, invoice matching, user experience, and implementation of AI tools to increase efficiency. * Leadership: serve as a trusted thought partner to leadership on procurement strategy and spend governance. Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Director, Procurement is a key member of the global procurement leadership team that will manage a large portfolio of suppliers that provide technology to First Advantage. General Responsibilities:

Role SummaryThe Global Procurement Sr. Manager for Travel, Meetings & Events will report to the Global Procurement Director. The position will have key responsibility for all aspects of sourcing for these categories. This includes ownership of all negotiations related to airlines, hotels, meeting facilities, corporate credit cards, travel agencies, and booking tools. In addition, the role partners with respective key stakeholders across the company to identify and prioritize needs, will understand the market to determine appropriate sources of supply, and benchmark/baseline the current state. This person is also responsible for developing the sourcing strategy for these categories. This includes, but is not limited to, managing and leading periodic supplier business reviews (i.e., EBs, QBRs, etc.), leading the competitive process (i.e., RFx, Auctions, etc.), supplier selection, commercial negotiations, deal finalization, and similar Senior Category Manager competencies. Also, they will partner with internal Shared Service organizations (i.e. Legal, Risk, Privacy, Insurance, Finance, Accounts Payable, etc.) for onboarding, contracting, etc. In addition, they will partner closely with Executive Assistants across the company to prioritize needs and establish discounts with properties and airlines that fit our travel needs. In addition, this person will manage the Travel Policies and guidelines for all Sophos users, including setting guidelines, reporting on compliance, and identifying opportunity areas for savings. The right candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and partnering ability with multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as being able to present and communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all levels of management.What You Will Do
Responsible for Global Strategic Procurement for all areas of the Travel category.
Develop close working relationships at all levels to stay aware of the strategic direction, how third parties support and add value, and with the purpose of being able to find holistic solutions that meet their needs.
Understand and research the relevant sub-categories so you remain aware of best practices, leading suppliers, benchmark and baseline data, industry trends, etc.
Partner with Shared Service organizations to manage onboarding, contracting and negotiations with suppliers as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Lead some and support all organizational development through roadmap projects, special initiatives, etc.
Lead regular business reviews with key suppliers.
Set strategy and prioritize needs for this role and for a Travel Specialist who works with this position
Create approval decks, savings cases, and contract summaries for obtaining internal buy-in.
Work closely with Sophos business partners and their teams to lead all sourcing related activities to create significant value for the business.
Drive savings/value creation and spend under management (“SUM”) for your areas of responsibility.
Work cross-functionally with global and regional counterparts.
Provide information to support monthly forecasts vs actuals, project pipeline opportunities, and projected savings.
Partner closely with our Admin community to understand needs and preferences
Negotiate remediations with suppliers, when necessary.
Develop a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
Manage highly confidential and critical information.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of strategic sourcing and category management expertise, with a preference for relevance in Travel Program Management
Direct experience negotiating agreements to completion across all phases of Strategic Sourcing.
The ability to work through complex, often lengthy projects, with a sense of urgency to successful outcomes.
Ability to view all managed categories in a strategic context, and to implement those strategies.
Partnership and relationship management expertise with business units at all levels and functions.
Both inductive and deductive related analytical skills for problem solving and risk mitigation.
Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex contracts.
Strong listening, oral communication and writing skills.
Skilled presentation experience to large audiences and executive leaders.
Able to work across cultures effectively, valuing diversity within a virtual team.
Track record of performance with measurable results and successful outcomes
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 to $209,000. In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $175,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
