Director of systems integration job description

As Director, M&A Integration, you play a critical role to accelerate BIC's transformation and realize its growth ambition. We are looking for a proactive leader who will help shape M&A integration and lead the successful integration of our acquisitions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the playbook to integrate newly acquired businesses into BIC globally - whether that is as a fully synergy integration, or back-office integration or as a standalone business. You will lead all integration activities and will be part of BIC's Strategy & M&A team providing subject matter expertise and insight into the deal due diligence process.

You will work closely with senior executives, acquired company management, and internal cross-functional teams in the development, implementation, and execution of integration plans and the ongoing monitoring of acquired businesses. You also participate in the M&A transaction process as well as other initiatives spearheaded by the M&A strategy team.

Lead integration of acquisitions at a Global level from pre-deal close preparation to business steady state incorporating key issues discovered through diligence and modifying the plan as necessary

Engage with Executive Sponsor, Business and Functional leaders to develop the operating model, integration approach and organization structure for each acquisition

Provide leadership and oversee program management for the successful integration of all acquisitions to deliver on all acquisition objectives

Serve as active participant in diligence of target acquisitions in order to lead the evaluation of key issues, assessing integration challenges and development of post-close plans

Lead development of acquisition key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergy plan to drive performance management

Lead the refinement of the integration Playbook that incorporates prior experience and industry best practices across all key work streams

Build, motivate, and inspire an integration team that works closely with leaders to successfully plan and execute on integration milestones
Stay current in deal and integration thought leadership and best practices to maintain cutting-edge M&A integration capabilities

You will implement sold Data Integration solutions as managed by National Customer Solutions Teams.

Manage Customer Solutions function "Solution Support", covering activities like 1st and 2nd level Support for integration and training to National Customer Solutions and CoE on Data Integration Solutions.

Support Global and Corporate Customer Solutions Data Integration policy and strategy, support development of Go to Market Data Integration Catalog. Presentations and handouts for National Customer Solutions Teams, Sales and support all BU (Sea/Air/Road) FU including vertical owners within regions and countries for Data Integration related topics.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Information Technology or equivalent. 3 years working for a carrier, freight forwarding, logistics organization and have leadership experience and ability to manage teams remotely. 3 + years' experience implementing data integration solutions for customers around supply chain management and collaboration. Advanced PC and applications knowledge or alternatives (Miro, Evernote).

The role
The Technical Director of System Integration and Software Sustainment will report to the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering and will be responsible for leading system integration activities for the Outrider System and sustainment activities for the Software organization.

This position requires a deep background in autonomous vehicles and/or robotic systems technologies, an ability to quickly analyze behavior and performance of complex systems and formulate next steps, and an eagerness to work in a rapidly-changing environment and prioritize efforts.

Outrider's fully electric, SaaS-based autonomous trucking solution relies on industrial-grade, ruggedized robotic software to enable a massively scalable fleet and reliable, round-the-clock operation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to push confined-area, heavy-vehicle autonomy into hardened, high-volume production with minimal software-derived service interruptions.

Required qualifications PhD or Master's Degree in robotics, computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline5+ years of industry experience in developing enabling technologies for robotic systems Demonstrated experience developing software components that integrate into large, complex software systems Successful track record in full-lifecycle software development, from concept through verification and validation of components and systems Demonstrated pedigree of troubleshooting large, complex systems composed of hardware and software Comfort with collaboratively working with multiple teams (e.g., software, hardware, systems, functional safety, test) to identify, understand, and resolve system issues Experience in providing technical leadership of an engineering team Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and review C and C++ source code Background using ROSExperience with Jira, Git, and Bitbucket, or similar tools Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to explain complex concepts to colleagues across disciplines
