The Director of Operations oversees the daily management and long-term strategic operational planning of the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno Event Center. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences, and financial success. The Director of Operations is responsible for the operational budget, monitoring expenses, and implementation of cost-control measures, while facilitating staff development, recruitment, training, supervision, and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully tracks and manages scheduled repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination.
Acts as a representative for the buildings during client site visits.
Develops objectives related to the effective operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of the facility. Develops and implements practical and relevant short-term plans to accomplish these objectives working closely with the Engineering and Facility Teams.
Prepares the annual budget for the National Bowling Stadium and Reno Event Center and maintains budgets that accurately support service levels and operational needs.
Establishes and maintains accurate accounting of events, profit and loss statements and prepares appropriate and necessary reports to assist management in analyzing trends and effective marketing for future business.
Exercises control over the authorized budget to keep expenditures within the limits set.
Ensures events scheduled are properly set up, staffed properly.
Inspects the facilities prior to, during, and after the events. Promptly notes deficiencies, and issues work orders to first line supervisors to correct these conditions.
Generates a monthly performance report for the Executive Director of Venue Operations detailing departmental workload and work activities. Maintains the records necessary for such a report.
Ensures security services preserve order, protect life and property, and enforce the rules and regulations of the RSCVA.
Documents and regularly updates security service needs. Formulates and monitors goals, objectives, plans, and policies for adequately meeting these needs considering risk levels, legal mandates, and current and future costs. Communicates these goals, objectives, plans, and policies to department personnel, Executive Director of Venue Operations , and clients.
Maintains a positive and professional image and builds an effective rapport with clients or potential clients.
Supports the sales process and ensures the successful support of events prior to, during and after the event has ended.
Works closely with clients ensuring all requests and contractual obligations are met.
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves operational problems and complaints.
Ensures a competent, professional, well-trained, and motivated staff that provides a positive environment for the successful staging of show activities.
Responsible for training, developing, coaching, and evaluating staff performance.
Provides timely and appropriate feedback to staff to ensure consistent, high-performance standards are maintained and achieved.
Keeps the Executive Director of Venue Operations informed in a timely fashion on issues requiring their input or consent.
Consistently demonstrate positive, interpersonal relations with all constituencies; cooperates harmoniously with others in the accomplishment of the RSCVA's strategic goals and objectives.
Ensures overall operations are performed with an emphasis on safety, as set forth by the RSCVA's safety program.
Is knowledgeable in the RSCVA Safety Program and takes necessary steps to maintain a safe work environment. Adheres to safe work practices to prevent injuries.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others.
Observes all RSCVA and departmental policies governing conduct while at work (e.g., telephone and computer use, electronic messaging, smoking regulations, parking, breaks and other related policies).

Job Description
The Kenny C. Guinn Center for Policy Priorities seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Education Policy. The position is statewide and may be based in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada. The Director of Education Policy develops and implements the Guinn Center's comprehensive education research and policy analysis program. In consultation with the Executive Director and the Research Director, the Director of Education Policy develops, conducts, and oversees education-related policy research for the Center.
The Director of Education Policy performs policy research and related work, including developing and writing research reports and policy briefs, employs mixed methods in research design, monitors emerging and ongoing federal, state, and local education policy issues, and gathers relevant and current research from external partners and academic partners across Nevada and nationwide. Moreover, the Director of Education assists with grant writing and oversees the execution of grants and negotiated contracts, serves as the outreach and media spokesperson when responding to issues relating to education, and presents the results of policy briefs and reports to legislators, government officials, and community groups.
In addition, the Director of Education Policy:

Reviews and develops methodologies to capture policy information for final publication;

To be successful in this position, the incumbent should have knowledge of several policy areas and topics in the education specialty. This includes K-12 best practices, special education, early childhood education, funding formulas and practices, student assessment, college and career readiness, and other Nevada-specific education policy matters. Moreover, the incumbent must be versed in basic data collection methods and analysis and know how to identify, read, and understand state regulations and statutes. Excellent writing and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to present complicated and detailed information and research in easily digestible and understood formats.

PagerDuty is seeking a **Principal Compensation Partner** to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As Principal Compensation Partner, you will report to and partner closely with the Director of Global Compensation to build and refine PagerDuty's global broad-based compensation programs to better attract and retain key talent, as well as align with the business's strategic and financial goals. You will be empowered to identify opportunities and execute efforts to improve our service delivery model and content, and to scale and automate our processes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in successfully collaborating cross-functionally with HR Business Partners and business leaders to lead the design and implementation of broad-based compensation programs globally.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Partner with the Director of Compensation to design, implement, and regularly evaluate PagerDuty's global compensation programs and processes, including base pay and incentive programs, salary range and job title frameworks, career architectures and merit/promotion guidelines
+ Collaborate and consult with senior leadership and HR Business Partners to create solutions and ensure that compensation programs meet the demands of the ever changing talent and economic market and are competitive.
+ Provide day-to-day guidance to HRBPs, Recruiters, and people leaders on exception requests and pay decisions.
+ Act as the project manager and key contributor to the compensation review/merit process.
+ Network with industry peers to evaluate trends to ensure market competitiveness of all programs and offerings
+ Partner with our Executive Compensation Partner on long-term incentive/stock compensation market evaluation and administration and other executive compensation matters as needed.
+ Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data by partnering with the People Operations and HRIS teams to conduct regular audits and quality control measures, implementing automation of audits to reduce manual work.
+ Provide occasional mentoring to other members of the Compensation and broader Total Rewards team.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ **Minimum 8 years** experience as a compensation professional, with a mix of experience as a direct partner to the business and as a program manager and/or analyst, primarily for a global organization; or transferable relevant experience.
+ Ability to successfully lead by influence, work independently with high-level guidance, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Proven experience successfully managing large, cross-functional projects
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and translate complex data and insights in consultation to diverse stakeholders.
+ Critical and curious thinker with a focus on data-driven recommendations, automation attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Experience in a high tech public B2B SaaS organization.
+ Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation, particularly as it relates to administering a compensation review process Previous experience successfully managing companywide compensation review and planning cycles
+ Experience designing and implementing a new or redesigned job architecture and related compensation framework
+ Knowledge of global statutory compensation requirements..Expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization techniques.Experience as an agent in an HR support ticketing system, as we use Jira for intake of most requests.
The base salary range for this position is 147,000 - 246,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position.
