    SS&C Advent is searching to fill the role for Director, Software Quality Assurance Engineering. We are seeking a candidate that has experience overcoming the challenges of improving quality for mature applications, while setting and achieving a vision for modernizing testing tools and processes across a global QA organization.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Lead a group of U.S.-based manual and automation SQA Engineers that are contributors across multiple Product teams

    + Work closely with SQA Directors/Managers in Beijing, China, who lead large product-focused teams of SQA Engineers, to breakdown any geographic barriers, unify the U.S and Beijing testing teams and processes, and move us forward as a cohesive global QA organization

    + Work with each Product team to identify current challenges and opportunities for improving software quality and customer satisfaction

    + Collaborate with U.S. and Beijing SQA leadership to define and implement solutions and set goals for maximizing manual testing efficiency and effectiveness and expanding automated test coverage

    + Serve as advocate and influencer across organizational leadership to promote adoption and adherence to quality best practices, and prioritization and commitment to automated testing across product teams

    + Represent Product teams working with IT and DevOps teams in the planning, design, maintenance, implementation, and accessibility of physical and virtual automation frameworks and infrastructure for testing activities
