The Intelligent Buildings and Infrastructure Group are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person to fill a strategic marketing role within our team. This team defines and delivers solutions based on ADI's broad product portfolio, tailored to provide system level benefits within this segment. The candidate will be responsible for the identification of emerging trends and opportunities in the market that will influence strategy, creating business plans to influence technology development. Working with the sales, digital marketing and technology development teams, they will drive the go-to-market strategies for our technologies and solutions and increase the industry recognition of ADI in this market space.

Responsibilities include:

* Proactively engage with global field personnel and cultivate strong relationships with key customers, at the engineering and management level.
* Recognize market trends by leveraging strong customer relationships, competitive knowledge and business skills.
* Lead market analyses, solution definitions, value proposition assessments, competitor assessments, roadmap development, and business forecasting.
* Develop & execute worldwide key account strategies with field teams - engage with strategic lead customers, prioritize opportunities, establish action plans, and gain support; drive strategies to identify, create, and extract value.
* Develop dynamic presentations and proposals, working with Sales to promote solutions to customers; secure & track key design-ins and develop future revenue forecasting.
* Contribute significantly to Go-to-Market activities - from initiation of new product concepts to digital marketing, trade shows, customer demo's, etc.
* Collaborate effectively with System Application Engineers and develop strategies to meet future system-level needs with algorithms, development tools and rapid proofs-of-concept.
* Develop product ecosystems, including direct collaboration with 3rd-party partners.
* Work across ADI organizational boundaries (including product engineering, applications & software, sales and corporate marketing functions).

Qualifications:

* BSEE or equivalent;

The Semiconductor Business Unit within Thermo Fisher Scientific Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) provides valuable workflow solutions for yield and failure analysis of semiconductor devices. **POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Strategic Marketing Director develops the expansion opportunities in current and future markets, identifies new/future market agendas that translate into measurable and sustainable MSD profit, translates these opportunities into a vision for long term planning consistent with corporate business objectives. This position will identify global and regional market trends, identify key needs, map the key decision makers, understand the money flow and funding mechanisms, forecast future capital spending.
