The Data Technician plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate documentation, label creation, and coordination with internal departments for seamless production and order fulfillment. SUMMARY
The Field Services Technician is responsible for installing and upgrading towers and tower equipment within the United Communications network. This role assists other Technicians and contractors with various projects and collaborates with the team to coordinate and execute special initiatives.

Coordinate with customer service to notify customers of planned maintenance while remaining flexible for any network issues that arise.
Support special projects and daily activities in coordination with the Field Services Supervisor.
Properly use and maintain company vehicles and assigned assets.
WHAT YOU BRING:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized technical courses or relevant work experience.
Two years of experience in tower installation and maintenance; ISP experience preferred.
Understanding of wireless technology is preferred.
Valid TN driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

SUMMARY
The Field Services Technician is responsible for installing and upgrading towers and tower equipment within the United Communications network. This role assists other Technicians and contractors with various projects and collaborates with the team to coordinate and execute special initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
Assist with the daily operation at assigned sites.
Maintain required site documentation and paperwork.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
Compile site-specific closeout documentation.
Conduct tower structural mappings, inventory mappings, maintenance inspections, and site audits.
Safely and efficiently perform repairs and upgrades at elevated heights.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality control.
Document job costs, including labor hours and materials.
Perform pre-work and post-work site audits.
Coordinate with customer service to notify customers of planned maintenance while remaining flexible for any network issues that arise.
Support special projects and daily activities in coordination with the Field Services Supervisor.
Properly use and maintain company vehicles and assigned assets.
WHAT YOU BRING:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized technical courses or relevant work experience.
Two years of experience in tower installation and maintenance; ISP experience preferred.
Understanding of wireless technology is preferred.
Valid TN drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
Certified tower climber preferred.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in internet-related applications, including email and web browsers.
Ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to climb up to 500 feet while adhering to safety procedures.
POSITION SCHEDULE AND ONSITE REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time position based out of our Chapel Hill, TN office, with travel throughout the assigned Middle Tennessee territory. A company vehicle is provided.
