What you'll bring to the team Qualifications & Experience Key Objectives: Under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Facility Manager, the maintenance engineer will help maintain, repair and install various equipment, hardware as directed by the facilities management team. A wide range of building maintenance and ability to work hands on in a team environment is required. This position will provide an opportunity for an individual to utilize their technical, analytical, troubleshooting and coordination skills to improve the reliability of our manufacturing systems. Compensation: $39.84 per hour Shift: Maintenance supports a Monday through Friday shift 7-3:30 they also support the rotating 12-hour shift. Ensure parts and supplies are available so that equipment repairs are made as soon as possible Work with system vendors and technology partners to install and configure equipment and software, solve system problems and implement solutions and upgrades Responsible for overseeing routine maintenance, annual inspections and audits of all physical, plant & building systems IT Helpdesk responsibilities for production staff working on Live broadcasts. Must be able to lift heavy equipment for installation/maintenance when required Requirements & Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience in broadcast system engineering as well as have experience working in live broadcast environments. Should hold a B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science or have demonstrable equivalent experience. The candidate should have notable experience related to broadcast systems design and integration. Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Windows and MAC operating systems preferred. Must be a television system problem-solver and troubleshooter for live events and broadcasts.
