    Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for High Public Trust ActioNet is seeking a Tier 2 - Junior IT Specialist to provide dependable on-site and remote technical support for users in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, 1-2 years of IT or help desk experience, and a strong customer service mindset. This role supports the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues while maintaining clear documentation and following established IT procedures. Salary: 40-46K Responsibilities: * Provide on-site and remote desk side support for end users in an enterprise environment. * Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices. * Assist with system imaging, deployment, and configuration using tools such as SCCM and Intune. * Support user account setup, password resets, and access management in Active Directory and Microsoft 365. * Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) sessions, BitLocker encryption, and KVM switch connections. * Assist with Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment and compliance. * Document work performed in the IT ticketing system and escalate complex issues when necessary. * Provide user support for Microsoft Office Suite and standard business applications. * Help maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate tracking of equipment. * Support printer installation and configuration. * Perform system updates and patching under supervision. * Communicate clearly with end users to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. * Follow IT security and operational procedures at all times. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements. Qualifications: * Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. * 1-2 years of experience providing IT or help desk support in an enterprise environment. * Basic understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and networking fundamentals. * Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals+, or equivalent.
