* Coordinate, facilitate and provide detailed direction for all disaster recovery testing activities.
* The person who fills this position is expected to collaborate with business unit staff, external business partners and key IT staff members for the purpose of planning, directing, controlling and maintaining an effective testing plan.

* If a business disruption results in the declaration of a disaster, then the results of the recovery efforts will be a large contributor to the evaluation of the overall effectiveness of this role.
* The effectiveness of the IT disaster recovery analyst will also be measured annually based on IT DRM management maturity, improved disaster recovery testing effectiveness and the leadership of disaster-recovery-specific continuous improvement initiatives.
* The ideal candidate will project a "can do" image of achievement to IT team members and business unit staff.
* Education and Training__
* A thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies, as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses.
* Proven experience with successfully managing data center operations and/or implementation and management data center servers, storage, network infrastructure and/or database technology.
* Working knowledge of application recovery planning to assist in the preparation of related recovery procedures.
* Ability to plan, organize, and direct the planning and execution of IT disaster recovery testing.
* Business continuity management certifications appropriate to needs.
* Strong oral communication and written communication skills.
* Proven experience in the use and application of IT project and program management tools
