    The Service Communication Operator is an entry-level administrative position that requires a patient, conscientious, relaxed, and cooperative team member. The most common daily tasks will be receiving calls and responding to emails from customers requiring service work, and creating those work orders in the Service Management software. The responsibilities include: creating new customers and sites, attaching pertinent documents to customers' sites, work orders, filing and maintaining those files, answering incoming calls, routing outgoing calls, scanning documents, and processing incoming/outgoing faxes. The workload is consistent as it requires good communication, thorough documentation, and supports the dispatch department, leaving nothing to chance. Must coordinate with the Service Dispatchers and relay pertinent information necessary to schedule upcoming work. This position requires cooperation and accommodation, which are aspects needed for customer interfaces, outreach, sales, marketing, and service-related follow-ups. They will need to have attention to detail to handle the flow of information amongst operators, dispatch, and external organizations. They will need to be an agreeable and sympathetic listener to have highly effective customer relationships and working relationships with other departments. With all duties, this role provides assistance to the Service Department Manager, Service Dispatch Manager, Service Manager(s), and the department. Responsibilities • Manage a multitude of phone calls, emails, and messages from customers and internal staff • Maintain a basic level of knowledge for contracts and national accounts to ensure the work order has all necessary information needed for the complete execution of the call • Initiation of work orders and tasks in Service Management software, as well as creating new sites for existing customers • Customer interaction skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, which also includes follow-up calls • General knowledge of services offered and current marketing campaigns to provide additional information to customers • Basic contract and national account knowledge • Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of tasks assigned by the Service Department Manager, Service Dispatch Manager, and Service Manager(s) • Provide basic status reporting and responds to requests for service, assistance, and information to all internal and external customers • Ensure proper data entry of information into Viewpoint • Physical demands include long hours sitting, using a computer, standing, pulling/pushing, walking, lifting, and climbing • The job requires intermediate computer proficiency and advanced critical thinking skills • Other duties, activities, and responsibilities may vary and change as assigned Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required • Equivalent industry training preferred • Relevant work experience may substitute for the training

You will be expected to carry out all responsibilities and tasks asked of you. The Mountain Operations Dispatcher is responsible for the dispatching of resources and communications for the entire Mountain Operations Team. This person is “the voice of Angel Fire Resort Mountain Operations”. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties will be assigned. Monitoring and recording all radio traffic Answering the dispatch phone Authorizing lifts to start loading passengers every morning Keeping records of warnings issued, tickets pulled, etc. for skiers that violate rules Keeping track of all resources at all times - people and vehicles Enforcing preferred routes of travel for all vehicles Dispatching patrol resources for injured skiers (10-50's) and courtesy rides (10-14's) Dispatching patrollers to daily stations (slow signs, sweeps, traffic control, bump, FA1, etc.) Dispatching patrollers to perform snow safety work and documenting Communicating directly with EMS over the phone and radio to coordinate transfer of care Coordinating and communicating operational changes based on weather Dispatching Security to incidents where they are needed Dispatching the appropriate leadership employees to incidents Dispatching incident investigators to incidents that require an investigation Coordinating and communicating Lift Evacuations and Lift Closures (mechanical and weather related) Coordinating and communicating Search and Rescue operations Coordinating shuttle transportation for weather related closures of chairlifts (wind hold and lightning) Dispatching groomers and snowmakers to areas in need of work Coordinating guest relations (vouchers) for lift incidents (evac, mechanical delay, etc.) Working with the leadership team to develop scripting and protocols to follow for the dispatching of anticipated incidents Sending “everybody” emails and Senior Staff texts as necessary Training departments on proper radio communication Obtaining the grooming report and updating trail status info on website Making a Daily Operations Update announcement over the radio every day at 3:30pm Qualifications: Prior experience as a dispatcher is not required. You will have the opportunity to learn the position from the ground up as long as you are able to take the initiative to get yourself up to speed quickly, take ownership of the position, possess excellent attention to detail, self motivate, and develop strong relationships with all of the mountain operations personnel. Other skills and abilities: Must be able to quickly learn the mountain including all trails, access points, roads, intersections, landmarks, etc. to a very high level of detail in order to effectively dispatch resources to specific locations. Ability to thrive in a high stress work environment where multiple forms of communication have to be juggled at the same time Ability to communicate extremely effectively in person, over the phone, over email, and with two-way radios Tone of voice must be positive, calm, and consistent regardless of how busy or stressful the operations become Ability to get along with everyone, positively influence others, lead effective trainings, and earn the respect of all team members Ability to troubleshoot and repair 2-way radios is preferred but not required About Angel Fire Resort: Angel Fire Resort is a top year-round mountain resort destination in New Mexico.
