Responsibilities: Monitors and assigns patient transport according to request through the use of Epic. Sets priorities of patients transported according to predetermined departmental policy. Informs ancillary area/nursing units of any delay in service. Verifies information on request for accuracy prior to distribution to patient transporter. Schedules breaks and lunch for patient transporters according to patient volumes. Immediately reports to Manager any problems with patient transporters or undue delays in transporting patients. Upon request, coordinates area function in absence of Resource Coordinator. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: High School diploma or acceptable equivalent.     The dispatcher/shop manager must be able to organize, lead, and control the flow of work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer. We are looking for someone dedicated to a job well done/ fixed first visit and a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers and team.
