We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to join our Home Services Residential Company. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing the daily schedule and dispatch of technicians to various locations.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in dispatch or scheduling is preferred, but not required.
The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule technicians for service calls and appointments
Monitor and track technician locations and availability
Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and update them on technician arrival times
Monitor and respond to incoming calls, emails, and texts in a timely manner
Resolve scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including midday, late evening shifts, and weekends on a rotating basis.
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Willingness to work either a day or evening/night shift with some weekend work required (Weekends rotated with other Dispatchers)
Experience in dispatch or scheduling (preferred, but not required)
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

This position requires full-performance technician work responsible for public safety communications in an emergency communications center. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED;

OR
• One (1) year experience as a Public Safety Emergency Dispatcher I plus one (1) year experience in an emergency medical services environment responding to highly stressed callers in need of public safety services, and have attained and maintained all related certifications, training, and program experience stipulated by agency.

About the job:
The Transportation Scheduler Dispatcher under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Scheduler is responsible for the timely scheduling of transportation for Senior Community Care (SCC) participants to and from the Day Center and/or appointments. The Scheduler is also responsible for scheduling outside medical appointments for the Senior Community Care participants and notification of appointments with participants, their family and home care providers. Responsible for communicating any safety or scheduling issues to the Transportation Manager.

Schedules Transportation for last minute emergencies that arise.
5. Assists in scheduling vehicle maintenance and equipment to operate within manufactures
recommendations.
6. Functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team when appropriate.
7. Communicates with Transportation Manager daily to be updated on participant conditions/ changes,
plan of care changes, or Interdisciplinary Team requests

Adjust schedules and routes in real time to respond to delays, traffic issues, or customer needs.
Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT/non-DOT regulations.
Track and report on fleet performance, driver attendance, and delivery metrics.
Assist in onboarding and training new drivers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Previous dispatching or logistics experience preferred; transportation or motor coach industry experience is a plus.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with scheduling and dispatching software.
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Entry-Level:
The incumbent will receive messages and citizen calls for police service and maintenance service in the Police Communications Center during an assigned shift. The incumbent can expect training and the possibility of future promotional opportunities with good performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or G.E.D.;
* One (1) year of responsible work experience;
* Ability to pass all required proficiency exams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Certified Maryland State National Crime Information Center (NCIC) CN2 training course;
* Certified American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) course for Health Care Providers;
* Completed the Practical and Academic Public Safety Dispatcher I/II training program.
* COVID-19 vaccination is strongly preferred*
RATE: Up to $26.39 per hour ($54,899.90 annually), depending on qualifications
