Job Qualifications
We are looking for aviation dispatcher/scheduler students pursuing a certificate or degree in an aviation related field (aviation dispatcher curriculum preferred) to be:

🔧The Dispatcher Position
Your work as a Dispatcher will involve communicating with clients via email, phone, and other methods, evaluating and prioritizing IT Support issues, and ensuring service level compliance.
As a Dispatcher, you'll work with the team to schedule and assign remote and onsite support for our clients, as well as onboarding new ones.
Dispatchers also participate in meetings and assist in maintaining company records and customer network documentation.

Dispatchers are responsible for communicating with drivers to ensure customers are provided prompt service in a safe and efficient manner. This position receives and responds to customer calls regarding service requests and/or issues and inputs information into data base for all lines of business (Residential, Roll-off, and Commercial). Responsibilities of Position:
Receive incoming calls from customers, customer service, and sales departments, and handle each with appropriate communication and action.
Monitor driver hours in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve service, pick-up and/or delivery issues.
Assist management with the daily activities of route drivers and ensure routes are completed by assigned driver or utility driver.
Assign live loads to drivers based on designated route or driver locations.
Dispatch work orders and perform data entry into computer system.
Monitor drivers through Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system entitled GeoTab.
Act as emergency contact for drivers and communicate with maintenance department for driver issues.
Manage missed stops by working cooperatively with customer, drivers, and/or office staff to resolve issues.
Assist with assigning and tracking daily work orders to drivers.
Ensure drivers complete paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
Assist in monitoring and enforcing quality and safety standards and ensuring all compliance goals are met or exceeded.

· Removes mail pieces from MLOCR sorting bins, verifies bar code integrity, Zip Code sort accuracy, proper dates and trays or bundles processed pieces.
· Prepares tray labels in accordance with USPS destination/distribution listing and conducts self-inspection to validate piece counts.
· Loads mail trays onto non-motorized carriers, verifies total tray counts, secures and placards carriers and otherwise coordinates the loading of processed mail for shipment to the USPS acceptance facility.
· Hand sorts mail pieces which are not compatible for automatic processing; assist supervisory personnel in maintaining required inventories of supplies, equipment and other processing materials.
