ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule and dispatch precast products and materials to ensure timely delivery to job sites
Act as a liaison between production, delivery teams, and customers to ensure clear communication regarding orders and schedules
Monitor and manage inventory levels of precast materials and products, ensuring adequate supply for ongoing projects
Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies
Address any issues that arise during the dispatch process, including delays, damaged products, or scheduling conflicts
Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels using company software
Manage inventory
Document shipping loads
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or construction preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in computer applications, including inventory management and dispatch software
Knowledge of precast concrete products and construction processes is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Regularly required to stand, twist, and walk; use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
This position requires constant medium to heavy manual labor
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe boots (must be laced and over the ankle), hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work environment is both indoor and outdoor, with exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust

The Florida Highway Patrol's Jacksonville Regional Communications Center is recruiting applicants for the OPS Law Enforcement Call Taker position. This position pays $18/hr. Members will work at least 40 hours per week. This position is ideal for students or for those seeking supplemental income.
Job duties include answering emergency and non-emergency phone lines, including 911 transfer and *FHP calls. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer and telephone.
Job Related Requirements

The
Dispatcher I
is responsible for overseeing and documenting the pickup and delivery of local shipments, as well as coordinating and communicating shipment information between drivers and delivery agents.
Responsibilities
Responsible for routing local freight, dispatching drivers, performing dock checks, tracking shipments, working with dock staff members to ensure movement of freight.
Timely event data entry of shipment milestones into MyAIT & AS400 tracking system - pickup, delivery, obtain proof of delivery.
Provide customer service to identify and meet specific customer needs. Answer/make customer inquiry calls and address customer concerns/complaints.
Assign driver load planning based on local mapping & appointments accordingly.
Identifying and coordinating the prioritization of rushed/urgent/last minute shipments.
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Responsible for receiving, evaluating, and coordinating ambulance transport requests. This role requires quick decision making and strong communication skills to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate medical transportation. Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations including operations during weather events. Coordination of internal emergency and non-emergency transportation requests, prioritization of resources, monitoring the status of ambulance resources, maintains related documentation, provides hospitals with updates, ensures compliance, supports crews, and arranges emergency medical services / third party ambulance resources as needed. Facilitates transport arrangements that match the patient's clinical needs.
Education/Experience:
HS diploma required.
Associate degree or higher preferred.
Non-clinical acute care setting, hospital, or dispatch center or emergency medical services preferred.
