Primary Function Responsible for receiving and dispatching 250-350 calls in an efficient and courteous manner, for the Hospital and MEDNET Answering Service. Must have genuine interest and empathy in meeting the needs of our patients, visitors and staff. Refers to department on-call lists to provide accurate information upon request.. Updates AMION & MEDNET changes as they occur during shift. First shift inputs daily coverage Answers and dispatches all emergency calls (similar to 911 ), codes, elevator alarms, and emergency stat calls promptly and accurately in one ring or less in a calm manner. Responds to Fire Department and 800 MHz radio. Utilizes walkie-talkies as specified in accounts. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with affiliated departments, staff, patients and other outside contacts. Maintains emphasis on excellent customer service. Distributes A/V equipment as requested and assures the employee signs in/out. Checks equipment upon return to assure wire/cords, etc. is in place. Provides pager management assistance on all shifts. Replacement of pagers, batteries, troubleshooting, etc. Maintains quality records/tickets in accounts in collaboration with the clients. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications and Specifications A High School diploma or equivalent is required. AMION on-call scheduling, customer service and answering service knowledge is a plus. Reliable, well-groomed and a team-player. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to display patience. Clear communication skills (written and verbal) using positive language, while speaking in a calm and cheerful manner. Ability to resolve potentially stressful callers interactions. Description As a Dispatcher with Colony Hardware, you will begin the journey of managing the logistics process for getting orders to our customers. This person will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the product is delivered promptly and efficiently by adequately managing the driver routes. A Little About Your Day; You Will: Coordinate and log routes for the morning and afternoon delivery trucks. Provide information and support to drivers throughout the day, such as phone numbers, addresses, etc. Sort paperwork from the previous night's work, such as credit card receipts, and truck logs. Provide information to branches throughout the day, such as delivery times, signature capture, picture capture, and package refusals. Keep up-to-date files pertaining to each route and maintains data as needed. Track orders through computer programs (NetSuite) prioritizing the most critical and ensuring that they are filled and packed in a timely manner to facilitate on time delivery schedule. Collaborate with the Operations and Fleet Manager to coordinate appointments and maintain fleet. Prepare daily maintenance reports on vehicles to determine needed repairs or inspections. Prepare end-of-month mileage report to determine required oil changes. Assist with loading/unloading trucks as needed. Assist with picking and packing orders for future customer deliveries. **Please note the hours for this role are 2nd shift Saturday-Wednesday 2pm-10pm/Overtime required as needed** Provides Security and Safety for designated property and personnel; observes reports and documents normal activities, irregularities and incident activities; provides emergency response; provides access control to include processing of vehicles and personnel; Monitors and administers security devices (i.e. badging systems, CCTV, etc…) Primary Functions: Provides effective access control to the property entrances including vehicle entrances and personnel entrances Challenge's personnel who do not have proper access Processes visitors, guests, and vendors Operates access control gates remotely Monitors the facility using closed circuit television Monitors access control system devices and conducts basic troubleshooting Prevents unauthorized access Control's parking of the property as required Makes notifications per established procedures Maintains effective communications during normal duties and during incidents Checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons Monitors and administers security devices (i.e., badging systems, CCTV, etc.…) Prepares logs or reports as required for patrol route; writes or types reports or enters information in a computer using standard grammar; inspects security control logs and acts as required. Six (6) months physical security experience in a manufacturing environment or. One (1) year in a law enforcement related field or.
