The Dispatcher's primary objective is to ensure timely and logistically efficient routing and dispatching of services. The Dispatcher monitors live routes, schedules and reschedules jobs, and communicates with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and the Field Operations teams, including Regional (RFMs) and Area Field Managers (AFMs) and Service Technicians (STs), regarding routes and scheduling. Essential Job Functions
* Dispatch job requests to (STs) based on job specifications and customer-required completion dates.
* Receive confirmed customer job request lists from CSRs.
* Strategically assign STs and schedule confirmed jobs according to optimized routes.

WORK OBJECTIVE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists Public Safety Call Takers, when needed, with answering emergency and non-emergency phone calls, gathering information to determine the caller's needs and entering information into the Computer aided dispatch (CAD) system.
Receives and assigns complaints to appropriate mobile units for Police Service to resolve calls while also relaying requests from mobile units to appropriate individuals.
Alerts/dispatches police units to locations where assistance is required, keeping track of the status and location of on-duty police units.
Monitors other Public Safety Radio channels for information pertinent to this agency.
Maintains accurate status records of all Department units through various logs.
Provides callers with lifesaving instructions in life-threatening situations.
Operates base station radio network using the various assigned frequencies.
Operates the CAD system, radio equipment, and teletype as part of the F.C.I.C. and N.C.I.C. Network.
Performs other duties as assigned by Communications management or a command officer.
The Communications Unit works 24 hours, 365 days a year including holidays. Applicants must be available to work 12-hour shifts that may include weekends, late night and/or holidays as well as the possibility to work extended hours with short notice and the potential for mandatory overtime.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least eighteen (18) years of age, with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

In this position you will be in charge of maintaining call logs, monitoring routes, transferring messages, and directing tow truck drivers. Essential Duties
Provide customer service excellence with each and every call.
Politely answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information.
Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments or field units.
Operate and manage a multi-line telephone console system.
Direct tow truck drivers to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, ETAs, customer requests or immediate needs and supervise the routes by GPS when needed.
Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
Providing customers with pricing information and respond to any queries they may have.
Maintain records and Process customer payments.
Maintaining records pertaining to work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information organized and easily accessible for supervisor.

Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
Daytona International Speedway is seeking certified Fire Rescue professionals that will interact with our guests and professional racing team participants during racing events.
Essential Functions:
Perform Fire and EMS response functions. Shifts range from 6-16 hours depending on event.
Practice and maintain professional work ethic and appearance.
Required Certifications:
Current State of Florida Fire I & II (Minimum Standards)
Current State of Florida EMT Basic or Paramedic Certificate (National Registry will not be accepted)
Current BLS CPR card (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
Current ACLS card (Paramedics) (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
EVOC or CEVO certificate
PALS or PEPP cert preferred, but not required (Paramedics)
