· Enters, retrieves, modifies and deletes data from LEIN system, CLEMIS, CLEAR systems, and Computer Aided Dispatch system.

· Monitors prisoners, holding cells, and other pertinent areas of Township property.
· Provides professional customer service to citizens at the front desk.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS

What's the hiring process like?
The process is quick! You'll hear from us soon after applying. All hiring is done virtually, so you can complete everything from home. Take your time and be accurate on your application; the info you provide helps us decide who to interview. If selected, we'll invite you to a virtual interview. By the end of that conversation, you'll know if you've got the job and when your first paid training shift will be. You'll get to choose from several start dates, some as soon as the following week. Our goal is to get you working, and paid, as quickly as possible.

What does it take to get hired in our Service Center?
There are lots of qualities we are hoping to find in anyone who applies. But we don't have a lot of hoops to jump through. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary. There are just five key things you'll need to be able to do:
You can type at least 40 words per minute. We'll conduct a test. Feel free to prep and take practice runs at typingcore.com.
You know your way around a computer and the internet.
You can communicate fluently in English (reading, speaking and writing).
You can commit to training which will be 3 shifts. You can choose between day & evening sessions.
You are available to work a minimum of three shifts per week. We're open seven days a week. The three (or more) shifts may be any combination of the shift times below. (Multiple options that work for you are better, or you may opt to have all be from the same shift time.)
Shift 1: 8:45am - 4pm
Shift 2: 10am - 6pm
Shift 3: 2pm - 9:30pm
Shift 4: 4:30pm - 12:30am (shift ends at 9:30pm Oct-Nov)
Shift 5: 5pm - 10pm (shift ends at 9:30pm Oct-Nov)
If you're offered a holiday position in the Service Center at Zingerman's Mail Order, a criminal background check will be required. While we're open to hiring individuals with certain types of past convictions, the nature of our work (handling customer payments and financial information) means that we're unable to hire candidates with specific types of criminal histories.
