Job Duties:
Supervises a Shift of TOC Dispatchers, monitoring routine incidents and taking the lead on major incidents. Oversee the dispatch function for the Incident Response Unit (IRU) and ADOT rural response and other field personnel. Monitors CCTV cameras, DMS, Wrong-Way-Driver system, Flex Lanes, dust detection, scanners, law enforcement, electronic sensors, I-10 deck park tunnel TMS, and truck escape ramp monitors.
Responsible for scheduling work days for the shifts, creating a shift schedule for the TOC Dispatch Manager, maintaining adequate coverage/staffing of all dispatchers shift(s).
