Responsible for relay of pertinent information via phone and radio to crews. Responsible for bookings, non-emergency dispatch during “off hours”. Must Maintain International Academies of Emergency Medical Dispatch certification. Attends Continuing Dispatch Education. Utilizes caller integration skills to obtain accurate information. Do you meet the Preferred Qualifications? High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. State of Connecticut Telecommunications Certification (Must be obtained within one year of employment) Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification.
